okay okay... I was like RM200 for nasi campur!!?? but it was for 4 people (so RM50 per person) and they had alot of seafood, fish, sotong, and those prawns look big and juicy.

There are many variations of ikan bakar, where it differs from marinades, dipping sauces and spices.
Your version of ikan bakar should be eaten with dipping sauce. You can choose either 'air asam' or 'sambal kicap'. Like a special package. So, the ikan bakar much more flavourful.
Next time, you may ask the locals or the restaurant reps about the dipping sauce :)
I like how Koreans and Malaysians both have mixed rice (bibimbap - nasi campur), with variations in side dishes and presentation only.
That being said, Korean style involves thoroughly mixing everything, and Malaysians don't.

I think you all miss something when eat the ikan bakar. U should eat with home made sauce like "kuah asam" or "kuah sambal"

I was there during the first stage of train construction hence there’s no other choice but to climb the stairs. Back then, even the stairs weren’t properly installed. But to look back at it now, I think that’s what makes the sky bridge experience more interesting! Hehe and watching Dasol reminds me a lot of myself bcs I also have 고소공포증, my legs trembled a lot and i had to stand at the starting line for about 5 minutes to pick up courage and start walking 😂 definitely only a “once in a lifetime” experience
i think, for young people they should try the stair. It is a once in a lifetime. But it is really not suitable for family that have child or old people. I tried it 2 times, i can push myself to climb but it is hard if you come with others people. So for youngers come with friend they really should tried. But still if you go just to have a relaxe day and enjoy you really should take the lift. Even the price different is big but the different is day and night.
What makes any journey memorable.. are the hardships and the acomplishments.. Good job completing the 300 stairs.. We did too.. and ya.. I stop many times.. hahaha

I never heard anything about not to flip over the fish. For me, as a chinese, we do flip over the fish to get the meat on the other side. Is ok to do it generally, nobody will scold you for that.

Kak yan is really good restaurant and good owner. Back then i often go there. And when still under lockdown i also go because not much people. But now its just to much people and crowded. But food there is good and the price is considered okay. Not to cheap or to expensive. Kak Yan also sell laksa, but i dont know if they sell or not. But Kak Yan laksa for me is one the best laksa at langkawi. Not because they are to tasty, but its just at langkawi not much tasty laksa stall. There are some but many are not delicous. Especially at airport. Their laksa is just not tasty and expensive but i get it people go for scenery. For scenery it is worth to eat there, but for the taste it is absolutely not worth.

too bad u guys already back to Korea when Ramadhan month is almost here. wish u guys will come back during Ramadhan month since Malaysia border will be open to all starting 1st April (not April fool, it's fact). start from 1st April, everything will go back to before pandemic except still need wear mask and scan mysejahtera. mamak and 7E will open 24hours again and bazaar ramadhan will be open at many places just like before pandemic. ofc we all can celebrate hari raya again after 2 years can't celebrate it due to covid and MCO. please come back, we all miss ur ramadhan content in Malaysia

Thanks a lot cz not only U like Malaysia but U promote Malaysia to others also. Just want to teach U something when U eat ikan bakar next time. U actually can flip the ikan bakar... dont worry ok. When U eat ikan bakar U have to eat it with sambal. Got 2 type of sambal especially for ikan bakar. There's kuah asam and kuah ketchup (U can ask people in that restaurants and take it both). U put it seperately in a small bowl. U can eat the fish meat by put some kuah asam or kuah ketchup. Try both and which one U like the most...
And try to eat (stingray) ikan bakar... Delicious 👍.
