As I remember, this version of the I Have A Heart Song was only used the first time series 3 was shown on ITV... On subsequent repeats, they replaced it with the series 1 end credits music for some reason
@tvredone1460 yes indeed! And actually I liked the way they gave the end credits a different theme each series - reverting back to the season 1 theme on repeats didn't really "suit" the later episodes, somehow?
Guarantee, that was a royalties issue. They would have had to have paid for that song to be used, every time it aired, and obviously went for the cheaper option of using their own music for the less valuable repeats. I don't know if series 3 ever got a video release, but I'd put money on them also cutting out the I Have A Heart song on that. Did it ever get repeated on Channel 4, or am I imagining that? I seem to recall it being part of their bizarre graveyard 6am Saturday or Sunday slot of kids' shows around the early 90's, which nobody was interested in because it was too early. If I'm right, there's no way that the song would have been used on those repeats.
I've watched few episodes of this old British cartoon from the 1980s on UA-cam before since 2019 (I think). I thought I never watched any old British cartoons like that before in my entire life. Wish I watched it when I was a kid. It looks kinda pretty interesting.
memories..this is my favourite Season and favourite ending
