Great update, Love the Basjoo. I'm trying to get a Cavendish through the winter in a tunnel without heat. The basjoo is much hardier I have a feeling I may have lost it though who knows until I take the wrapping tent off. Good update have subbed. Tony
Thanks Kris, great to see how your garden's doing. I've been doing lot's of gardening in this lovely weather and have managed to get a February suntan lol :) xx
Great video! I was out gardening today too 😊🌞🌴🌿 I noticed today that my colocasia (Thailand giant) that’s been overwintering as a huge dried bulb in a paper bag in a dark cupboard... has started growing again! 💚 Time to plant him up in a pot for now and keep inside until any frosts have passed and then I can put him back in the garden 😊🌿 I’m really tempted to get some of those colocasia pink China and a T REX... The only thing I worry about with the T rex is the runners
It’s surprising that the loquat looks as well as it does considering the root system was stunted. In a previous garden I had a loquat that I could view from my bedroom. I called it the ‘ghost tree’ because the new leaves emerged vertically exposing the silvery undersides. In the diffuse morning light, especially when it was foggy, the tree took on a ghostly appearance. The flowers are nicely fragrant.
Hi Chris, does TRex need full sun to grow? I have one in a pot but going to plant it in the garden this year, only problem most of garden only gets a few hours full sun due to huge trees.

Yes you must get some Pink Chinas. Such an easy exotic for the garden
YorkshireKRIS Exotic Gardening U.K. I don’t suppose you know where I can get some currently? Everywhere seems to be out of stock :(
Message me on Facebook. I know of a couple of suppliers that'll have them soon.

I'm looking forward to watching mine grow.
