Great first review Ben, glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for well wishes. I'm wearing Quorum Silver today. So glad your channel is back, love the reviews. Take care.
Funny you should mention that because when I was doing research this week, I noticed that Fragrantica lists Idole as one that is similar to Bentley. Oh that bottle! I would have a hard time hiding that one away. I will note these two and add them to the 'want to review' list. Thanks!!
Cheers Ben , Flog a dead horse here in Ireland would be more common than beat, that said I would flog the flogger of the unfortunate dead horse lol 😆. Great job on this one which I have both offerings funnily I got the edp some years before the edt Bentley. I of course like and wear both , may well wear edt today. Great to see ya back buddy 🤛💪👊
Cheers, Bren! I am looking forward to reading your thoughts on both (I see you have commented on the next one). Glad someone else says flog! flog the flogger :)
I'm glad I'm not the only one that isn't a fan of the initial blast. After a minute of it sitting on my skin I'm like oh that actually smells really nice. But the initial spray just puts me off.
Musc Ravageur was My SOTD and first ever wearing…Wow, what an amazing fragrance! My Mom commented that it reminded her of vintage “Emeraude”…How would you find them comparable? Since My collection has grown to almost 200 fragrances, I am becoming more aware of redundancy and would like to suggest mentioning fragrances that are similar in your reviews, which might be helpful for others in the same situation. Thank you for all your hard work and welcome back!
I can see the comparison, but one has cloves and the other ylang-ylang. Emeraude is a classic oriental, so similar, yes...I can see why it reminds her of it. Yes! Please mention as many as you like. We would love to hear your input, always, Robert! You are welcome and thank you! Congrats on the collection!
@@ThatCologneGuy Thank You. I was asking if you could include comparisons to similar fragrances in your reviews, to help people avoid redundancies in their collections. Would you be open to including this concept in your reviews?
In California we say "to beat a dead horse" but mostly heard in and around corporate or work setting. Im wearing blonde amber clive christian today actually this whole week. You like sweet spicy woody? A whole line of Parfum de marly and Tom ford would be right up your alley. It's almost like their specialization. A real good one that is highly obscure but i know guaranteed you will like is Nisean by pdm.
:) You made it til the end!! Thanks for chiming in! I do like spicy woody very much. I'll check out Nisean right now....thanks! (Checked it out and I see it is close to the highest rating I've ever given...Jubilation XXV!)
Hang in there Brian! Sending you a prayer and good vibes.
Thanks
Thinking of you Brian
Thanks
So many different notes in this one! Good fall timing as you stated. You know me, I love a cologne that lingers after the person leaves the room!😊
It definitely leaves a trail, but I think it might have too much rum in it for you...you can smell it and let me know what you think.
SUM LIKE THA OG BETTER THAN THA INTENSE...EYE NEED 2 PICK THIS ONE UP 4
SHEEZY...PRAYING 4 BRIAN🙏...SOTD LOST IN THE WOODS BY NASEEM
:) I see that...I am looking forward to comparing the two! Lost in the Woods sounds amazing, I see it has neroli in it. Sounds divine!
Very happy to see you back Dr. Ben!!
Thanks, Jamie! I appreciate it...it's good to be back.

You're welcome! I know you like Quorum Silver...enjoy it! Hope things are going well for you.
I would HIGHLY recommend that you try Lubin Idole and Lubin Korrigan. I think those are the benchmarks of boozy scent profile, hands down.

Hey!! Welcome back. Very glad you came back.
Thanks, Eric! I appreciate that. Glad to be back.
Nice jersey Ben
Thanks!

Right? I can certainly get past it though....I don't mind giving a free pass to the first 15-20 minutes. ha ha

Oh nice! I enjoyed reviewing the original.
