CR4000 was better when it used destination blinds (they looked better than the dot matrix displays) but because they no longer have blindsets, the Variobahn is a better tram
FL66, I LOVE the new Variobahn Stadler trams much more than ever!!!!! 😀😀😀😀😀😉😉😉 Since the time that they were being washed off, I have always and only been on the clean new ones instead of the grubby ones. I never go on the old CR4000 ones because since 2012 (precisely the equivalent year that the new trams were brought to Croydon), I LOATHE them to the death upon full avengance like crazy because there is no space to stretch my legs out whilst sitting down and riding; they are cramped, even with 2 carriages as well basically deteriorates it, too. And not even to also mention that due to the incidents: the bottom bumper is so high that a very long time ago it caused this to happen: 1) in late 2010, a 7 year-old boy had one leg chopped off whilst collecting his lunch box that he accidently dropped on the tram tracks. 2) in early 2011 the moment one lady tripped and fell over whilst running after another tram at East Croydon, it was dragged under a moving tram. and 3) straight after she was dragged underneath, she then had 6 ribs crushed so badly and seriously severe, that she had passed away from of that damage and died!!! Unbelievable.
Why the fuck does the announcement go "the next stop will be" instead of "this stop is" it makes no sense that the only announcement for a stop is when it's pulling into a stop and it goes "the next stop will be" and finishes the announcement when the tram is about 3 seconds from opening it's doors
I love how they have to tell people the tram 'accelerates and decelerates very quickly' you think people would notice?

CR4000 start at 3.5 mph/sec and have an interesting VF drive. Variobahn start at at 2.5 mph/sec and sound shit.
I like the Cr 4000s. They look unique. I call them the Ducks because of the pointy bit at the front. The variobahns are okay
