- Again, apologies for the audio issues! I hope to have it fixed soon. But anyways, here's every single Raft animal currently in the game (Pre-Chapter 3) and where to find them. Let me know if this helps you out with the "Some Look Different" achievement too!

The Dodos/Chicken are not in the right order. Blue Most, Brown second and Red Rarest. But Good videos anyway!

Yes same, I have a ton of blue ones, seen the black and white once, and never seen the pink in game.
Got 2 chicks pink ones in a row, didnt know they are rare, kept one. Never seen white one, white goat probably havent seen too.

The lack of manatees around the islands is Raft's biggest failing.
RPGs have taught me .... everything is vulnerable to a pointy stick. Sometimes these same "targets" will resist nuclear blasts, toxic downfalls, acid, a 125 mm tank round .... but nothing, nothing resists a pointy stick.

The very first llama I found/caught on my very first playthrough was a striped llama. I may have seen some before, but right when I had the net gun is when I found it, so perfect timing!

There’s also a V-shaped flock of geese that flies over your raft every now and then. Everybody seems to think they are seagulls, but they make very loud and obvious geese sounds.

Hi, how do you turn the trre plots diagonally ... when I try to rotate then they turn only 90 degrees ... (pretty useless considering it is a square)
lmao the striped llama was the first different type that i caught to get the achievement. I had no idea it was the rarest
I didn´t even know that Jeremiah was a she! You learn something new every day! :) And I think you´re as close as you can get with the humpback whale. It seems there has been some artistic liberty in play, but fairly close.
I agree about the screechers - they are not even worth killing, as difficult as it is. Their drops are useless compared to having a few nests on your raft and killing seagulls.
Sometimes around islands there is small fish that you can’t do anything with that swims around in packs, I’m not sure if we would also wanna consider all the fish you can fish as animals cause they are all dead when you get them
those pigs from caravan town are also found on desert biom isles too
my 4th llama I found was striped. didn't know how rare it was.
What about the angler fish? Not that i have found it yet though.

Tip for mid/lategame, animal products are some of the best things to use in terms of effort:value for generating biofuel and trash cubes if you have a good number of them. 2 Wool = one cube, 2 milk or 3.33 eggs = 1 fuel.
Getting your animal and bee farm set up early can save a lot of time (and pain for your E button) shoveling planks into recyclers and engines and enjoy the luxury of top speed without needing to refuel every few minutes
I watched CaptainSauce’s series on this game, and when he got to Balboa the update which introduced bees wasn’t out yet, and thus it was a lot less clear what you were supposed to do with the biofuel. He didn’t come back to the game until Chapter 2, where he went to Caravan island on pure wood, before completely ignoring the bees and spending the rest of his playthrough complaining about not having them. I love his videos, but this, along with his general ignoring of most of the game’s content after Chapter 2 came out drove me into insanity and out of the series.

You can find figs in some islands near caravan town
I just got Pink Chicken or as I call them dodo birds and it was my first chicken to get also. :)

Am I being dumb? I cant find how to make the glass walls like you have unless you did it just to showcase the animals lol. I would def change all my animal pens to glass if possible
Those are part of a mod, not the base game! I just used them for decorating purposes

correction. on the pigs only on one island
There are 2 more islands with pigs
One island has a trader hut at a high elevation and you can utilize ziplines to skip the assent to the trading hut
(to those who wants to skip climbing the hills to the trading hut) "found this one 2 times"
The other is basically just a bump/half moon on the ocean with no trading hut (this one might be a test island considering it only has 5 palm trees, some flowers and grass) "only seen this 1 time"

I killed the screecher in caravan town but never got to loot it because it fell somewhere :/

sail away from caravan town and it will respawn elsewhere with everything resetting if you wanna get the head
The whale is a fin or sei whale - small but distinct pointed dorsal fin, long slim body - deffo not a humpback.
damn the first animal in world which i caught was striped lama, shocked how rare this is
tbh you should be able to tame the larger animals and breed them for leather, steak etc

I believe they partially built walls and floors, then they left them unfinished.

i got the rare animal achievement from a goat on caravan town
The pig only drops leather (not meat), and I have also seen them on the large island that spawn in that biome.
what about the Rhinoshark

i thought brown and white chickens were rare the only ones ive ever got were 11 blue and 1 red, been looking for a white one for so longggg
