In the building menu, if you hover over the repair menu and select “upgrade to sturdy wood” you can click on anything you have built with the building hammer and upgrade it to a stronger type of wood. (Requires you to have materials like plastic and/or wood depending on what you are upgrading)
Instead of worrying about breaking poles, use the sideways poles so you don’t have to have poles in the middles of rooms

Hey Blitz, Bread recommends you get the draw bridge if you haven't already. Trust me it seems insignificant but it really is a neat toy.
Oh also, hinges give the best scrap return rate. I think 12 hinges will fill the compactor.

put the windmill on the 3rd floor, near the trees and the batteries get charged in around 2 minutes, as opposed to 6 min on ground level

Upgrade the planks and the collection nets to the new ones.
Blitz make your Raft even bigger
FYI, you can chuck hinges, bolts and I think metal ingots into the trash compacters and it gives the equivalent of almost an entire trash cube.
wool and wet/dry bricks are better
@@souptimecatz4742 Pretty sure bricks are the same as just putting the raw resources req. to make bricks in. Not very efficient but wool is great.

Kinda old but you can farm titanium and wood in the giant floating city every single tree is chopable in the city and there's a couple rooms that you can unlock with the shipping crate puzzle that gives you around 6-9 ores also you can either put a roof over your crops or get an advanced scarecrow to stop seagulls from eating your crop
In addition to your comment, aside from the secret room in the generator room, with titanium, there's also the secret room from an elevator. The one used to bring you to the birthday room has a button in the upper left corner of the door. Press it to be taken to a room with four chests of titanium

I wish Raft had a "casual" mode or something. Like, if you could play like minecraft and build an island base that you could return to somehow...I dont know. The game has so much potential and its already super fun. I just like the format of this game.
I mean you technically can. There’s no limit to how big your raft can be so just make your raft massive and add whatever you want

Hey blitz there are two new rare events you can encounter one is a whale swimming then splashing into the water and the other one moon jellyfish swimming up to your raft for a bit

detail plank is the best tool in the game
When you go to your storage press Y (on PC) and it will store everything that is already in the storage. SUPER fast for storing all your building materials!

17:18 when you drop stuff into boxes. theres a button that gives ALL that is already in the box. so put one plastic in then click the button and your whole inventory is filtered and put all the plastic in that box. the other button is to sort the box which is also pretty cool!
