Shringara Lahari is a composition of Lingaraj Urs in Ragam Neelambari set to Adi talam, choreographed by Guru Rama Vaidyanathan.
It describes the goddess as the embodiment of Art and Music. Holding the beautiful veena in her hand she represents everything that is connected to beauty and laya. Shringara Lahari literally means a wave of beauty. Devi is depicted as one who is a constant wave of beauty and esthetics. She is the favorite one of Lord Shiva, she is soft-spoken, she has soft feet and she also is the daughter of the mountains. She is strong and yet compassionate. She represents the arts and yet she has the intelligence of high sages.
