I worked at Kapalua Bay Hotel from 91-94 , I used to serve room service to the cliff house and all the villas outside the hotel.
I think they've since converted the cliff house to more banquet style inside but back then it was more of a house.

Thanks for starting at this end of the trail . Seems like the rest start at DT Fleming and bypass quite a bit on a shortened walk .

How close is this walkway to Sugar Beach Resort?

Sugar Beach Resort is located in North Kihei area and it's about 45 minutes away from this trail by car.

Maybe half of it. At least 1/3 is dirt.
