I have had the Tineco one S5, and after it gave me connection problems I retuned it and got the Roborock Dyad Pro instead. For both, I bought the combo kit and all I can say is that the Roborock impressed me at every corner. It was cheaper, performed better, and had a much better build quality. So I agree with you indeed. Here are my thoughts for the rest of your viewers (like me) who were unsure of which to get.
Not only was the unboxing of the Roborock super satisfying, but the overall build quality is superior to the Tineco. I got goosebumps when I opened it! It just feels so much more sturdy than the Tineco.
The Tineco always left the mops wet, with the puddle under it in the tray. It was always talking to me and complaining about something (which was super annoying), and the worst part was that a quarterway through a clean it would complain that the dirty tank was full and the water had run out, and that I should start self-cleaning. When you put it on self-cleaning, it has a thousand things to first say to you- whereas the Roborock only says "self-cleaning started"

The Roborock on the other hand, I can do a full clean and a self-clean on the same clean water tank and dirty water tank! The Tineco would have needed 3-4 changes in the meantime. To be honest, at first, I thought changing the Tineco water frequently was not a problem, until it became super annoying and unproductive for my cleans. The other thing I love about the Roborock is the edge-to-edge cleaning, oh, and the self-drying mops! No more wet mops, or forgetting to take them out to dry. Ooh and also the vacuum-only attachment is a thousand times better than the Tineco as it has bristles. I have a dog and a low pile carpet in the living room, so this is where it proved itself. To add to my love for it, the Roborock is also much softer. It sounds sleek actually. My only downside is that the Roborock is slightly heavier, but not too heavy. For everything it gives, the build quality etc, the weight is not a problem for me. Its also about 100 Euros cheaper (when comparing the combos) than the Tineco. Its a clear win for me. Hope this also helps you make up your mind.

Super helpful as I’ve tried 3 other wet vacs and one being the tineco s5 combo. The power time on it was a joke so the tineco 3 or the robo were my next options

Great review...I'm struggling to decide between the two. It's my understanding the Tineco needs full on cleaning each time. Seems that the Dyad Pro only requires self cleaning with deep clean every few weeks. What I can't seem to decipher is whether or not the Roborock requires filter cleaning each time of use like the Tineco? Wouldn't the filter get wet during use or not? Thanks for your help!

While the blow dryer seems nice the tineco does give two brushes. They recommend you to switch it after use and put in the dry one.

IS the Roborock self propelled like the tineco?

Is it just me? It looks as if the Roborock didn’t get close to the baseboards, which means I would have to use something else to get the area up against the baseboards clean.

I have the dyad pro and it doesn't blow hot air, I also saw this on other reviews, it only has a fan with no heating element.

Yes, the fact that Roborock flat out lies that it’s hot air is extremely messed up! Many reviewers have proven it’s not even warm air. I’m surprised Roborock would open themselves up to a lawsuit like that! But I am testing one right now, and I’m impressed in many ways, but also disappointed that although it does suck up a lot, most of what it sucks up gets stuck in the rollers and doesn’t get cleaned out. So you have to clean underneath the rollers by popping them out every time or it’s not actually clean to clean with. lol Also, I had to do 3 deep clean self cleaning cycles in a row to get the rollers even close to clean. So I’m impressed in some respects, but the lying about the hot air makes me suspect of everything else. I’m also about to try the Tineco s5 pro 2, which solves many of the issues you mentioned. I’ll reply again if it doesn’t. :)
But I definitely agree that for its price point (especially since Amazon has a $100 off coupon right now), that it is the best. But I do actually like my Crosswave Max better in certain ways. And that’s an old machine. So we will see. :)

We have 4 cats (2 long hair) a husky, a collie, and I and my daughters have very long hair. We have the regular dyad, and love it. We use it more for spot cleaning and cleaning upstairs,. Because we mainly use the roborock vacuum robot for everyday all over cleaning on the main floor.
We have had 0 problems with either with the hair (outside of normal maintenance that we do on every vacuum we've ever owned)

    NOT HOT AIR....!!!!!!!!

That's ok that it's not hot air. It would really make the machine use more hydro, would heat up the place in summer and it would burn out the machine much quicker. Cool air and a fan is good enough, better I think.
