The truck driver needs to be constantly looks at his mirrors watching for cars driving fast because if he hits them, it’ll be his fault. I drive on the autobahn everyday and I can you it’s pretty easy to tell if someone’s coming fast if you’re paying attention. You’ll see how much ground they’re covering.

Well in America... Depends where you are, Kentucky's long state highway is mostly only 2 lanes but it's identical to the Autobahn. I was able to average around 90mph on it & hit 135 because there are signs every few miles that remind people to keep out the left lane except to pass so I of course was in the left lane entire time but it's risky driving fast in the US because the speed limits are so low. SUV drivers and idiots on their cell phones ruin it. Roads in Ohio however are filled with potholes & look terrible due to the colder climates and rust belt state of affairs.
People in europe knows what the left lane is for lol. I see so many clips on when people drive in USA and they dont seem to know what the left lane is for.

@@DigitalDissident normally its even more. Gas prices vary alot, but as an example a gallon of normal 95 octane petrol costs 5,82$ today, which is actually relatively cheap. A few weeks ago it was like 6,7$ per gallon. Most of it is just taxes (and they even want to increase them), but its also usually "better" fuel than in the US (the cheapest you can get is 95 octane with 10% biofuel, the most expensive has like 102 octane with no biofuel)

@@dsd6538 Not had a proper GPS top speed measurement, but similar power cars on AUTO TOP NL channel are doing 186mph on the autobahn :-) As far as I understand it, there are two limiters, the first can be removed easily with a remap, and takes top speed to 175mph, the second limiter requires a bit more work to do, and basically then you're only limited by power/revs/aerodynamics. There is a clip of the Pure Turbo test car doing 329Kph/ 204mph but that had (I think) 660bhp at the time.

The truck have to be 10 km/h faster than the other, the whole passing must be done in 45 sec. That's almost never the case, so it's not legal. And the law also says you have to take care about the following traffic, if it's risky then you should not pass. In my opinion it's always risky in a no-speed-limit zone. So overall I would say the truck was not allowed to pass...

Is the M140i really shifting at 7100/7200? Every other 1 Series of that Gen shifts at around 6500/6600. Looks like a slightly tuned car to me tbh.
