As a fan of his work, his death is a loss that cannot be filled, except in reruns, seeing his movies, and just marveling at his art and skill as an actor. There are many people who have died since Sutherland, but those people never crossed paths with me in any way, shape, or form. So, yes, his death was a little hard for me to take, I did feel it personally, as did many who expressed their loss on places like this one.
