Just kept the one each..I personally would have no problem if I had to put all of them back . Doesn't bother me at all. I just wish I could catch that size Bass when I am shore fishing ,but alas like so many beach anglers I rarely see a Bass over about 3lbs.
TAFishing number of marks in dorset for the big ones only thing is the fight is over in 5 seconds as they are only ever 10/15ft off the shingle;)
I thought the drawing was very clear, I could even see one of those reels on the drawing of the boat with two rods out, was a daiwa.

And may I say well done on the realise of the bass so many ppl just kill them for no reason some times I return all my bass
I always catch and release aswell.. Bass should go back I think. The only thing I take is two or three mackerel for my din sometimes.

Should all fish be killed when caught. Latest Studies show that fish who are caught and then returned to the water suffer such severe physiological stress then die of shock.
60 SECOND BEACH FISHING what about all the fish that are caught time and time again for years ?
Engine fool . I not against release just i dont fish as sport so once i caught what i need i off home. But say that i watch videos of catch and release so i suppose what difference if i do it or watch it..
Have you had or seen any very big skate, there seems to be less and less photos or videos of big ones being caught. I remember a sales rep coming into the shop for bait with a picture of a skate in a 24ft boat and it filled the back completely a good couple hundred lbs

No its not, I have never caught a single Bass on Boulder I believe.
I want to get into lure fishing on freshwater. Thinking about getting an abu garcia pro max baitcasting combo. It has a casting weight of 15g-45g. I see harry seems to do fine with a rod rated for much heavier lures. Would i be okay with the pro max rod and that casting weight. Will i be able to effectively cast say a 6g shad? Thing is im only just getting into it and dont want to buy lots of rods for different applications. Id like to go after fish from perch to big pike so thats why i have that combo in mind. Another option would be maybe to get an abu garcia devil rod which has a casting weight of 5g to 20g and then find a suitable baitcasting reel however atm the pro max combo seems the most cost effective option. Any feedback will be much appreciated cheers

taffwales no one has the right to tell anyone to release or keep a decent bass! Especially recreational anglers!its the commercial fisherman damaging the stocks!

Any bass over 4lb should be returned because it’s 90% sure to be a female fish
alanrtment porter did I say that ? No I did not I personally release every bass I catch regardless of size I stated that if the fish is 4ld or over it’s nearly always going to be a spawning female so if yr taking one yr better of going for the under 4ld because the chances of it being a female is lower , it doesn’t matter anyway really because some trawler will end up sweeping em up regards it’s not the man with the rod that’s doing the damage..
