Hello ! What do you mean by 2 years or 1 year contract for renting? Does it mean if you want to go before the end of the contract, you still have to pay for the remainder ?
Most housing contracts are for 2 years and sometimes you can find contracts for only 1 year. People can and do leave before contracts end, I'm not too familiar with the process, but it's not uncommon. My understanding is it's on you to find someone to take on the rest of your contract. If that doesn't happen, then yes, you'd have to cover rent until someone moves in. And you won't get your deposit back until someone moves in. If you know you'll be in Korea for under a year, I'd look into other options! (Goshiwons, share houses, people who have signed a contract for a place and are looking for roommates)
You can get the Bukhansan views as you go further down line 4, as well as along the "ui sinseol" line, which intersects with line 4 at Sungshin University Station :)
Love the vogue 73 question style!! And your calm aesthetic :)
Thank you! 🥰
