Just bought the LYrock Knock off.. Pretty much sounds like this.. Sounds like a dirty AC-30 on my Deluxe Reverb when you Goose it.. Reminds me of a controllable Way Huge Red Llama but without the chunkier Fizz of the RL.
Hi, Men! Your music charmed me. You play much better than who we call "Stars" or "Super Stars". Sometimes your music remind me Mark Knopfler, sometimes -- Steve Ray Vaughan, sometimes -- Billy Gibbons, sometimes -- David Gilmour. But anyway -- it's Perfect! Some of your videos I listen like beautiful rock records. And you made cool tones for your guitars! Excellent! Sorry for my English -- I'm from Russia
Amazing sound in this stompbox ! But your touch and feeling makes me wonder how to play like that ? Could you give any good way to get out of the pentatonic and blues scales....I do not know any music theory, know pent blues scales but want to play a bit like you ? Thanks for answering me Popintothechemist ? Best regards from France, Gaëta
I study like a mad man. My advice is to transcribe music that you like as well as jazz (saxophone, piano, guitar) learn your modes and chords. And a great teacher will go a long way. I studied with a guy named Jon Damian and it completely blew me away.
Good with VOX-ish or Fender amps. Seems to like EL84-based amps (or, rather, they seem to respond well to it - not all, just the notables, AC15, Bls Jnr, Bassbreaker15, and Dr. Z!)
@itsonlyrcknroll Too hard to compare. They both have their own unique tones... The Honey Bee has less gain and excels at low gain growl. It's very touch responsive and adds some cool mids....
You're a fantastic guitar player. Wonderful lines, smooth bends and great vibrato. Have you tried the BJFE Honeybee versus the one made by Bearfoot FX? I'm asking because I live in Sweden and it would be easier for me to order this overdrive pedal (since it's Swedish).
hi man !Beside your great tone and inspirational solos I have an "outside " small question:If all these pedals are not yours how come you try them because they are so many and so many different brands..???!!!Just my curiosity.. Thanx
With a musician like you, any pedal will sound cool... Do I detect a nod or two at Curtis Mayfield in there? How does this pedal sound on open chords a la The Who?
It helps when the clean tone is absolutely gorgeous to start with :)
Thats what I was thinking. I said out loud damn that clean tone. Perfect.
I could listen to you on that Tele all day
I enjoy each demo you release, this one however hit home special.
Thank you for taking the time.
Pete
Your guitar playing on these clips never ceases to amaze me! :)

absolutely superb playing, so good I get 'warm behind the eyes'. That pedal is nice, but by golly, you are a great musician mate!
@ciclosonico This is a very unique pedal. I think it shines as a low gainer with a greasy tone. Very cool pedal.
you are an amazing guitar player
Thanks so much, I really appreciate it.
@TideAndStand Thanks for watching! Very kind words!!
Thanks for all of work here on this site. Have you ever stacked a Honey Bee with an Xotic EP or RC?
nice music Mike, very good, cool playing.. I'm loving this video!
I don't know if that pedal sounds better than others, your tone is always great.
Ой как классно!
