Wow i love what you said about him that he breathes music i love everything he does as well seen him in concert and it was amazing him and his wife on stage singing to each other incredible
Do you think it is possible for anyone to learn how to sing ? I understand years of practice and learning, but do think it takes a certain person to really be a great singer ?
React to "tennesse whiskey" or "whiskey and you" songs by chris stapleton as well that are equally amazing! All of chris stapleton is epic in general 👍
Played for one of my boys from high school (hes black) he was shocked and said exact same thing. "Oohhhh wweeeee that man can sang, he taking dem to chaarch"
When you said there was bluegrass and a little metal in his singing. He was in a rock band called The Jompson Brothers and a bluegrass band called the SteelDrivers.
@@reddragonready Americana is pretty much a term people use to describe real music because they don't know what else to call it. It's such a broad term. Just because most popular music is generic and meaningless doesn't mean that all real music should be thrown into one general category
@@jeremylilly1054 I disagree and so does the AMA and the Grammy committee. They find it quite possible to define the genre. I know you get a million recommendations however his version of Amanda that he and his wife sing together is excellent. Her voice is wonderful and made to harmonize with his.
Straight blues with hillbilly/country twist. From Kentucky to near you. Just seen him lastnight in Madison, WI. Best live performance ive ever seen. And ive seen many.
That was great! There is also a version of this song where he is playing electric guitar. One small quibble, his accent is Southern American, not South American. I understood what you meant, just wanted to clarify.
He was actually a ghost writer for years. Wrote number ones. His wife convinced him to put out his songs. Learned guitar on his own in a year, I believe
He is a musical genius. He takes a few simple words and makes into this amazing song. His song writing skills are very evident here. I am not sure if this hi s carefully planned, or it just flows naturally from him. Great job Chris.
This was great. I really like your videos. You have a great set up and excellent sound quality. I love your enthusiasm as well. Check out Chris Stapleton; Death Row, haunting song.
Chris Stapleton is a once-in-a-generation vocalist, songwriter, and amazing guitarist! You really should check out his other songs & performances! Funny thing you said he has a "South American accent"- I just laughed! I live in Texas and I understood what you meant though. The best way to say it is that he has a "Southern accent".. :-)
I laughed at the South American accent too. 🤣 Of course Greg Potter is right that in the US it is just “southern accent”. If audience is international, “southern American accent” solves the vagueness problem without referencing the wrong continent. South American accent is going to be more accurately Sofia Vergara, not Chris Stapleton. 😉
The guitar is not well used, it's well lived and well loved. Lots of emotions was poured thru it. Your use of used is not wrong at all, there's just more to it ;) Love your content ;)
I know I'm not a subscriber yet but definitely give a listen to Chris's ( Tennessee whiskey ) & ( I was wrong ) , these are two mind-blowing songs which by the way his wife sings with him most of the time !! He is considered to be able to sing in any genre he would like, and most of his fans think the same way. I call him a generational talent, they don't come around very often, he's got that natural little something that you can't be taught, you're just born with it!
You need to look at some more of his songs...I Was Wrong (live), Fire Away (video is pretty powerful), What Are You Listening To (live), and When the Stars Come Out (live) are all phenomenal
I've been playing music for about 17 years, and the reaction on Beth's face at the beginning is the only thing I've ever strived for (man or woman) when I play. Lol Beth is great.
I was exited to see your reaction to this! ❤️ You need to check out his live performance of “I Was Wrong” It’s absolutely outstanding and mind blowing!!!
i think my favorite part of watching reactions to this song is everyone pauses on the first sometimes i cry only to then be hit by an even bigger one right after
7:45 sigh. Always kinda feel like you need a cigarette after Chris sings 😊. He's a master class in everything he does, he's so good. Great reaction & analysis, perfection, so glad someone requested him.

Jamey Johnson's cover of Skynyrd's "Four Walls of Raiford" from One More for the Fans. It's so stark sounding, and so honest, it gives me chills. It's just Jamey and a guy playing the dobro. And that voice...
Also, if you're looking for other country voices to react to, I'd recommend Ronnie Dunn of Brooks n' Dunn - he belts really hard with a lot of twang and I don't know how he does that (check a live version of "My Maria.") Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland is another.
There could be almost an endless list of his songs to check out but, I was wrong, Death row and Barely Alive by Jompson Brothers (one of his other bands, and my personal fav) are definitely tops...love your reactions!

The jaw drop as soon as he starts singing is priceless.
i thought that was her panties dropping!!! haha
Everytime
@K A I'm glad I wasnt the only 1
I've watched her reaction several times.. lol
Yeah, and the little sigh at 7:46 sort of sums it all up. No? Yes.
I like seeing people's faces when they listen to Chris for the first time. Just wonderful.

I love when you paused @ 2:40 and you talk about being surprised. And I knew you were very near to being blown away!
He is amazing live! See him the first chance you get.
I've watched your reaction video multiple times...it is every bit as enjoyable as the song !
Chris Stapleton - Parachute (Live on SNL)
7:46 Love that amazed face...
I died when she said "South American" accent lol
Can you check out some of Ben Howard's performances? He is a talented man and nobody is giving him a shot
Please do Chris Stapleton I Was Wrong live and also Fire Away (the music video is incredibly moving). You won't be disappointed
More Chris Stapleton reactions please
First time seeing you. You should check out Colter Wall - The devil wears a suit and tie. Solid musician.
Beth if you love Chris Cornell’s music let me recommend his song two drink minimum I think you’ll really enjoy it

He clearly deserves her.

You ain't gotta worry he's happily married with a mess of young'uns.

Yes yes, loooove it too!!!!
As one does when listening to chris stapleton
I had to do a double take when I heard he had a "South American accent", and then realized it was Southern American, ha. Always enjoy your videos! 😁
Ooops
He is from Kentucky
You can hardly tell he’s Bolivian.
Bolivian trucker
Southern America is Mexico
Chris Stapleton- I was wrong (Austin city limits)
Love that one! I'm pretty sure he could sing the phone book and I'd be down sooooo. Lol
Yes!
then his cover of It's A Man's World :)
She needs to do the one from Austin City Limits though! It’s the best version I’ve heard
I was wrong is my favorite song by him that album is amazing
I love watching people react to this man for the first time
Same. It's become one of my favorite hobbies. LOL
Same!
Chris Stapletons voice, is a gift
Chris needs to leave some girls' hearts for us mortals
There's not a single reactor on UA-cam that doesn't make the stankface when he hits the high notes
And just like that you’re pregnant!
I had the exact same reaction when I first heard Chris Stapleton. Especially in a world of terrible country he's a beautiful breath of fresh air.
Tyler childers, colter wall, and sturgill Simpson are also bringing back country.
React to "tennesse whiskey" or "whiskey and you" songs by chris stapleton as well that are equally amazing! All of chris stapleton is epic in general 👍
Haha, I've got a friend that plays Tennessee Whiskey every time he gets drunk.
Noice 👌
As good as the cover was she listened to, his original is infinitely better.
Tennessee whiskey isn't his song, its a cover by him. Albeit a very awesome cover👍
I wanna see her reaction to "Fire Away" by Chris Stapleton
The man is a national treasure, everyone loves his voice.
I’m a metal head and I love Chris Stapleton

Yeah, I'm quickly becoming a convert myself. Holy hell
I love Chris Stapleton. That boy can sang (not sing, sang.)
