Yea I dont get why they rank the games based almost entirely on what pokemons are available and not mainly the methods you can use. X Y has radar, hordes, chain fishing, and masuda yet its in C tier... what?

Yes sword and shield locked a lot of shines but they werent that great except galarian birds, and if you ignore the shiny locked pokemon then its actually s tier with the crown tundra dlc and shiny charm.

I just dont see why you'd rank games for their shiny hunting based almost entirely on what pokemon you can hunt, I get that it affects it but who tf is shiny hunting in emerald unless they really want a pixelated legendary...
Even though I'm sure lots of people disagree with the list, the content is really well done. I do highly recommend going back and playing the first 2 games as they have very unique shiny mechanics (gen 1 technically doesnt have shinies but pokemon transfered up can still be shiny) and gen 2 is a world of its own. I do wish the IV manip had been mentioned for the gen 3 series though.

Bro what do you even mean s/v has one of the easiest shiny hunting methods you can get. Just make a simple sandwich and you can literally find anything. Add that to the fact you can increase encounters of a certain type and you are basically guaranteed to get the shiny you want. You can't make a tier list based on what you like and what pokemon are in the game. Its "best game to shiny hunt in" not "which game do I like the most". s/v uou can find one without the shiny charm even so idk just my opinion.
Its funny because my list is almost entirely in reverse to this
my fav games to shiny hunt in are hgss too i have 19 shinys already and currently going for sunkern during the day and gahstly during the night

This is so dumb make no sense. Why would you like to waste time shining hunting when in 30min you can have any shiny in SV? If you want legendaries just go to Sw/Sh.
