I remember this day in college hoops three teams went into that day undefeated, Duke, Florida, and Pitt. All three suffered their first loss. Pitt lost to St. John's, Duke lost this game to Georgetown, and Florida ended up losing to Tennessee later that evening.
Shooting was their upside, but being softer than cookie dough was their downside. Georgetown, FSU, UNC and LSU all had size and strength mismatches that exposed the ‘06 squad badly.
