Rancho the Dog is a 4 year old Belgian Shepherd Tervuren. There are 4 varieties of the Belgian Shepherd Dog - the Malinois (short coated), the Groenendael (black long-coated), the Lakenois (wire-haired) and the Tervuren (basically a long-coated Malinois, as far as color is concerned)

I have a all black German shepherd and she’s now 6, we’ve also got chickens on our property and ever since she was a puppy she’s had one raw egg with her evening meal, she’s happy, healthy, no bad gas and the best coat I’ve ever seen. Hope this helps anyone :) ❤
They don't want dogs eating eggs and your own home meat recipes because they want you to buy dog food and take your dog to the vet often.

I agreed, my dog really loves egg , vegetables,chicken, rice ,Freshmilk and I confidently say that he is healthy and now my Belgian Malinois is 4 months old🐶🐶🐶
The good thing is that dogs can naturally digest a lot more than meat - even in nature wolves often eat grapes for example when they can't hunt to get some energy. Works with other specific food, too. Cats on the other hand can`t/ shouldn`t do that for they mainly have a pure carnivore stomach/ system. I hope your Malinois has a long happy life ahead, they are sooo cute.

Great video! I learnt lots! Today I had to scramble up Mochas raw egg for her to eat it 😂😂 it was still cooked. Just needed to be scrambled for her to enjoy it. Rancho was way less picky! 😄

Hi there! Congratulations for your beautiful dog and your commitment to him! Let me tell you my little story... I own a groenendael and since she got home a feed her everyday with one microwave cooked egg in the morning and another one at dinner, plus her dog food; and everything went just perfect, she looked very strong and healthy and she had a beautiful top model like hair. But suddenly when she was 12 month old approximately she start having diarrhea and I stopped giving her eggs and the diarrhea ceased immediately. I’m not looking for scientific answers I’m just commenting it to you 👍🏻. Cheers
My 15 year old Chihuahua loves some scrambled up eggs here and there. It helps that it's soft on her teeth, which are pretty sensitive now at her old age! :)

I have a Standard Poodle and she gets 1 egg scrambled mixed with her regular dog food (Blue Buffalo) brand every Sunday morning. Farm fresh eggs.

I never fed my dog eggs except when I had a hardboiled one at Easter. My late Enzo was allergic to chicken (among numerous other meats and carbohydrates) and got swollen and itchy bleeding paws from egg shell powder. My partner had inadvertently given it instead of Calcium citrate.

I used to give my dogs raw eggs(no shell) until the past week. Had to rush him to the vet as he reacted. Body was covered in tiny bumps and was flapping his ears uncontrollably. Also itching like crazy. Most probably the egg was bad or something as he had raw eggs before(2 every Saturday evening) and it was fine. But how does one know if the egg is bad so I have to stop and play safe.
If you use eggshells don't use regular eggs from the store as they have been sprayed with chemicals to clean.

Why on earth would you want to feed your dog eggshells? They’re kind of sharp too as a sidenote, seems like it could actually do harm if not crushed finely.

We gave our girl cooked eggs or simply just the egg yolk when feeding raw - this is another way to avoid the effects of the raw egg white. 😉
How many eggs for a giant dog
Dogs can absolutely eat raw eggs. My dogs eat raw duck eggs every day with the shell. However my eggs are fresh from the farm, and the shell has 0 chemicals on them. If you get store bought eggs I wouldn’t feed them the shell. Raw eggs will always be better than cooked.
The worst thing you can do for your dog is keep them inside, dogs communicate with the world around them by way of licking. They literally lick everything so that means every surface in your house including your clothes and your hands etc, are being constantly licked. Just think about all of the chemicals that are used in your house. All the lotions that are put on, all of the fragrance all of the cleaning solutions. your dog is constantly ingesting chemicals and this is why dogs don’t live as long anymore. Keep your dog outside out of yards that have chemicals in them and let them run and play. You could literally feed your dog cheap food, and he will still live longer than a dog that lives inside if your dog lives in the country.

Yeah, sure. In the wild they would probably not be able to find a cooked egg 🍳 😊🥚 But at the same time, they can get more nutrients out of the egg when it’s cooked, so why not cook it from time to time. And as for what you said about vets, you’re right. Luckily our vet isn’t against it. In fact she herself feeds her dog a raw diet :) Tale care my friend.
