What a great tutorial. You Rock! The way you teach is easy to understand and follow through. Greetings from Panama. Roberto
Hi Angelo, just wanted to thank you!! Your tutorials are really helpful and easy tu understand. Thanks again!
I am so glad you are finding them helpful. Thanks Andrea!
Merciiii bcp, j'adore vos vidéos, j'ai appris beaucoup de choses avec vous je vous souhaite une bonne continuation et bonne année.
Thanks Dear Angelo, we have learned a lot from this interesting video
I love your videos. They are so amazing.❤🎉🎉🎉
Please keep updating new ideas
Good work dear, keep up such videos!
I love it! Ashley inspired my channel too and I am excited to see more from you!
Thank you!
Great Angelo! Thousands thanks
Very welcome!
I love Angelo’s lessons! I just had a major frustration with the close button - til I realized it wasn’t visible on the video because the X was transparent, and the black blended in to the video, so I could not see it! I thought I was doing something wrong, till I thought to check that out.
I am glad to hear this helped you! Thanks!
I juxtaposed 3 of your tutorials into an interactive experience that is psychedelic and professional at the same time. It represents everything I know how to do in Adobe Creative Suite. You have a great teaching style. Your voice is educational. Do you AfterEffects?
This one is what i always wonder how to create 🙏🥳🥰
Hi! I've been binge watching and trying out your videos, thank you for the tutorials, they are amazing!
Also, I was wondering, that these would be working if you publish them on behance? How can I do it?
Hey! Yes, you sure can. Publish it online and once it's live on the Adobe site, copy the embed code located in the bottom right corner of the window. Paste the code in your Behance project. I actually covered this in my Adobe MAX session. Here's the link if you want to see how. It's the last tip I showed so it's near the end. www.adobe.com/max/2021/sessions/digital-publishing-and-interactivity-in-indesign-l311.html
@@AngeloMontilla Thank you so much for your help, I will check it out!
welcome . The lesson is very nice. I want to know where I want to watch my work on the web. The video is not showing up for me. What is the reason for this?
Hi! Your videos are incredibly helpful! Wondering, what if I need to export in a way that’s viewable offline-is a PDF my best option? And if so, my animation and interactive options are more limited right? Thanks again!!!
Hi Bekki! For offline viewing, File > Export as EPub (Fixed Layout). This will allow you to view the project with all the interactivity still intact using an e-reader such as Apple Books. If you're on Windows, you can try Calibre or Adobe Digital Editions. But 100%, this won't work for PDF Interactive. All the best.
@@AngeloMontilla thanks so much!
Hi
Great instruction! Helps a lot.
I have a movie with sound. When I do all the buttons everything works. But if I click the close button, the movie disappears but the sound goes on. How do I enable the sound at the same time?
Hi Arjan! In your case, because there's audio in your video, add another Action to your close button of Video and set it to Stop. This way when the animation reversed, the video will also stop and you won't hear the audio.
@@AngeloMontilla Thank you so much!
Hi, First I need to tell you that I have learned a lot about digital publishing from your valuable tutorials. Thank you very much!!! … When I do all the buttons everything works. But if I click the movie close button, the movie disappears but the sound goes on. I add to 3 close button actions, 1st - Animation = stop, 2nd - Animation = reverse, 3rd - show/hide buttons and form. But still sound goes on.
Hi SkandaKumar, looks like you should add an Action of Video with the Option to Stop as well.
@@AngeloMontilla Done, all are now going very well. Thank you very much for your kind help!!! 🥰
Thank you so much dear ❤️ I have a question to use the scroll boxes do I have go pay in5? Is it free? I didnt think so. But there’s a demo I guess. It should be a part of indesign by now, its really usefull... but well 🌈 kisses angelo!
Hi Mariana! Download the in5 extension and then open InDesign. In the in5 dropdown, choose Scrolling Frames. A window will appear initially notifying users that scrolling frame requires an additional download and to enter your email. It is a way for in5 to get users to sign up for their newsletter - but they also send you the scrolling frame download to your email. Follow instructions from there and scrolling frames will be included as a freebie. Hope you're well, take care!
@@AngeloMontilla but other features from in5 are paid right? thank you xxxxXXxxx
@@mariananarciso. That is correct :)
Is there another way to export the file and keep the interactions working?
Hi Kevin! The Publish Online is the easiest way, but you can also go to Export > EPub (Fixed Layout) and view the project in an E-Reader. Apple/iOS users, it will automatically open in Apple Books. Windows/Androis users, you'll have to search which e-reader is best. However I am hearing Microsoft Edge E-Reader is a good choice now. The other options include, Export > HTML, which packages the HTML, js and images for you. You would have to hand off files to a developer to put it all together on your site. Lastly, there is in5. This is a paid subscription with many features that allows you to take your InDesign project and go right to your site with zero coding needed. Those are your 4 main options. Hope you find the right one! Take care.
@@AngeloMontilla thank you very much, i'm new to using adobe indesign, but your videos have taught me a lot. Thank you very much
Hey, is there any way to control the size of scroll bar? It appears very thick in this video whereas in some other videos it appears thin. On what the size depends?
Hey Karan! Yes the scroll indicator size is dependent on the size of your document. There is not a control to set it the size you want - only the space away from the content inside. Hope that helps.
@@AngeloMontilla This helps, thanks a lot 😃
What's the output file extension? HTML? If yes can I use it on my domain with a clean URL(NOT ADOBE cloud)?
Hey there! You really have two options. You can certainly export as HTML (File > Export > HTML). This will package all the assets, css, etc...and you'll need some guidance from a developer to help you see it through to web - unless of course you can do it!
The other option is using Ajar Productions' in5, which allows you to publish from InDesign to web without coding. This is a subscription-based extension.
Best of luck.
@@AngeloMontilla thank you.
