ONGOING effect applies whenever a card SITS on a location. So when the card moves, the ongoing effect is temporary switched off until it sits back onto the new location. That is why, for example, if you play Zabu in Luke's Bar the cost reduction effect occurs for a few seconds before the card returns back to your hand.
i just turn on black and white filter in my pc or ma phone if i want play with black and white card. it work flawlessy, all card become black and white, even the frame.
I never understood the obsession this community has with inked splits. Some look good, but a lot of them look awful to me. I'd much rather get gold background and/or some Kirby krackle.

Basically when ongoing card move, they remove the ability for a bit and then resume.
