Mr Modi dissapoints, who will Modi turn to when China feels enegised enough to do something about Ladack. I don't think Russia will do him any good if China does move. Russia is also wary, if not scared of China.
India never got any help or supplies always had to fight alone (occasionaly helped by israel and russia).

I have been saying for two or three years that India will be the next large authoritarian state. All this talk trying to justify Modi's actions in recent days will not wash.
