Literally everyone I know is talking about this series to the point that it eclipsed Elite (Netflix biggest cash cow and which had a disgraceful Season 4), so I wouldn't be surprised that it gets picked for a 2nd and even a 3rd season. I think it would be so pointless not to make a second season here and see this revolution you mention. It would be kind of educational to show "what if" the prince comes out and leaves the Monarchy (so useless already) behind. Or he could be the last King to reign, with a male partner. No descendants no more legacy and that could be the beginning of a new Republic. Maybe i'm too dreamy 😅🤣

I was shocked on how good the actor who played the young prince. He is so believable, from the way he talk, his posture is very regal very royal. And omg when he stares in the camera....wow. He is not classically handsome but that dude is full of swag!

when wille hug simon.. the lyrics "but the lies they will hurt you" I cried.. simon is hurt, but wille is more hurts because he told the lies and couldn't do what he wants 😭😭.. I know both of them hurt.. it's impossible for someone like wille to come out, as a prince he can't think of himself but all around him.. that's reality that even more sad. 😭

@@yugure7189 Exactly! Even though he was not the Crown Prince yet, he still felt so stifled by the responsibilities of being a prince. It’s like it literally presses on his chest and that’s why he opens the window, he literally can’t breathe under the pressure.
I think you will all agree with me that Wilhelm and Simón will go down in history as one of the greatest COUPLES ever, regardless of gender. Hopefully the creators are tracking all these fan-made videos and comments, so they don't fuck up with them on Season 2 🌈❤

I just finished watching the entire season and I have NEVER felt like this because of a tv series. I got butterflies watching the two and I love how it was so diverse with having people with different backgrounds, skin types, sexualities, etc without making it so obvious but rather normalized. Compared to American gay (or even straight) teen romance, this wasn’t very sexual but rather defined how love is love and if you love someone, you are willing to put up a fight. (Or in this case a ✨revolution✨)

In an interview the actor of Simon said that all of them would love to continue the series so it's up to the interest and given that on IMDB YR is 33rd most popular TV show at this moment (out of all series ever), almost 100% sure the series will be renewed. Also I love that Simon wants to move away from the countryside, no better place for that than Stockholm, which is also the home of the Swedish royal family.
I love how at 3:15 you can tell Wilhelm is struggling to breathe, but when’s he’s with Simon at 3:47 it feels like he can relax again 😢❤

honestly i was scared of what the ending would be because of what i heard from others but after watching it, it’s quite obvious who he’ll choose he hugged simon in front of the entire school after rumors of them being in a secret gay relationship and then told him he loved him and the end when he stared at the camera it held a sense of rebellion and independence i think in season 2 he’ll come out to everyone
Okay i’ve just watched it for the second time here’s my thoughts…
The lyrics playing were “let’s start a revolution” after hugging in front of the school; Wilhelms family betrayed him the way he looks at the camera at the end, why would he do anything to help them? or protect them, they hurt him, when he looked at the camera the lyric “revolution” played and i think that may just be THE *word* for season two.

I'm older and I can watch this series over and over again, the two leads have so much chemistry you truly believe they love each other, age is irrelevant. ;love is all that matters, the series captures the intoxicating feeling of falling in love for the first time so beautifully wish we could bottle that feeling.

I love this show, interestingly, Wilhelm is spelt the german way, in Swedish it is William, and another interesting feature is that William's mother is Queen Christiana, there was a Christina who was the real Queen of Sweden from 1632 until her forced abdication in 1654. and of course the next Sovereign of Sweden with be a Queen, Victoria

People can be named both Wilhelm and William in Sweden (and Wilhelm is sometimes spelled Vilhelm, but pronounced the same). Wilhelm is seen as more traditional though, I doubt that a Swedish prince would be named William.

That's why I love their relationship. It's not in any way toxic... It's only two people experiencing first love within unfortunate circumstances. But they respect each other and Simon knows his own worth so they break up without a full stop.

This song fits them so beautifully, i just adore their love story. I was just hoping like everyone else that Wilhelm could be honest and be himself, and maybe he could have with the support from his brother. I sincerely hope for their love story to have a happy ending. But I think whats more important for anyone who decides to come out, is they need to make sure they are safe. (of course that has different definitions to different people). Anyways heres to hoping for a season 2, and a happy ending.

It is 2021. This song fits completely. Finally w show where teenagers were played by teenagers. How it pulls at your heartstrings; the emotions, the acting the story. This show is so well made and these actors are just amazing.
You feel the emotion and cry when Whilem cried. I am totally blown away with how amazing this season was. Wow. Simply wow. And the comments on UA-cam show how the younger generation doesn’t give a crap about homophobic issues, and are loving and open. This is just beautiful. ❤️
