I love this adorable video involving RIT dye and sewing woohoo! This is right up my alley. Thanks so much. Youve taught me all about bleaching too. I have a jean jacket given to me that is thrifted. It is saturated with strong perfume around the collar that didnt come out after 15 washings and treatments with ammonia, vinegar and hanging to dry outdoors. This morning I dipped it in a bleach solution for an hour. I bet it worked! We will see shortly when the washer cycle is complete. We will walk in creative VICTORY my friends! Hi Tracy! I love your beautiful style. I’ve upcycled a pain of jeans, and have just finished a lace blouse that came out beautifully. The blouse is thrifted, and it smells awful. I’ve washed it twice,soaked it, but to no avail. Has this happened to you before? How do I get the smell out? Thanks!
