Ruben Hernandez some of Negan most relied move is 2,2,2,2 string is especially more punishable on block with Miguel. For some reason I still practicing how to block punish and with Negan matchup, I learn it much easier, on lower rank only though.
The fluffy overcoat was fun, and his new default jacket is like an upgrade from that very outfit. The matador outfit had nothing to do with his character (bullfighters are gracile, elegant and actively look for CH, yet Miguel is an agressive bully) so I get why it's removed. I would love more bar brawling, barefist boxing inspired costumes.
How did you (or someone else) figure out the stealth nerf to the pushback? Even if I mained Miguel, I don't think I would have ever figured that one out lol
2:44 and 3:00 is basically the same situation but you give the impression that SAVb2 is more likely to happen than SAV14 even going as far as saying the latter's use is limited
A parry and a strike aren't at all used in the same situation. You're not going to be landing SAV b+2 often, but the strength of getting a full combo midscreen off of a safe on block sabaki should be clear to see.
@@ThatBlastedSalami SAV1,4 is basically safe unless it's right at the wall and even then it's only -10. Given that it comes out of SAV you're most likely doing df1 into SAV and doing either option in that same situation (fishing for a CH and a punch parry is the same situation imo). In that instance at +5 both attack beat out jabs. If df1 is blocked b2 is the only one that beats out jabs. Also without an actual parry of course you get no launch and being a punch parry you are at risk of being magic 4d *even on hit* SAV1 also has the safe high '1' extension that jails and has guaranteed follow up. The '4' extension is also very delayable to catch duckers. SAV1 by itself can transition into SAV at -2 on block at +6 on hit. The way you gloss over SAV1,4 in the video struck me as odd as by doing my own research I found it to be one of the most interesting wallbounces in the game. Miguel still needs range buffs! Real talk from a miguel main. Also can we have more moves that transition into savage stance? Can we insta savage stance into any savage stance move please?? You do that and he will be S tier. Not broken either just supremely balanced.
All he needs is arm length and a better rage drive. You can manually go into sav. Its in his movelist. The only move that needs a sav option is his 1,2. That's it.

As much as he got buffed, I'm really miffed that his DF113 and DF112 got nerfed and are significantly more punishable. That was my favourite aspect of Miguel in Season 1. The DF1 pressure and mixups.
