We are going on the radiance of the seas as well. In Juneau we are planning to go on blue bus to go to the Mendenhall glacier and falls. Then come back to go to the top of the mountain. Thanks again.
We did the bus to Mendenhall the first time we went to Alaska. It was amazing. If my memory is any good, there was a huge waterfall along the way, while walking to the glacier.
We were on the Radiance cruise that left Vancouver May 3rd. You guys must have been on the May 10 cruise? Our Skagway port of call and train excursion was canceled because of work not being completed on the dock. We had port in Haines instead. It was ok but we were disappointed that we didn’t get to do the train ride. We felt fortunate to be on the cruise at all because we didn’t know until 2 days before we were flying to Vancouver that the ship was going to be sailing due to repairs on the propulsion system. The cruise before ours was canceled after the sat at Vancouver for 2 days. We really enjoyed the cruise though and we did the zip line in Icy Strait too. I got some great 360 footage of that with my Insta 360 X 3.
We have a channel on deovr, that is where we put our 360 videos. I am really far behind on those, however. I did a 360 video of the entire train ride in Skagway. If you ever see us on a cruise, make sure to say hello. Obviously, we have similar tastes, so you never know.
