Dude the new Static effect is actually painful to the eyes. I remember when they tried to change the static in Y5S3 and it was ehh. Ubi, the static was fine as it was. You not only didn't warn us of this change, but it's actively worse than before and didn't need to be changed.

on the topic of "why did they change that" you bring up the new static for drones/cameras being destroyed they added 4 new animations to the game for sledge, hibana, cav, and smoke when you are on the op screen on the main menu and click on one of them they do a new idle animation they are cool but who put time into them and why
the teams that make updates to the game and the teams that make animations are two entirely different things. Them making animations for characters does not take time or resources away from updates to the sandbox.

I also noticed a notification yesterday about Privacy mode being available for everyone. I'm on a Series X and I don't know about anyone else, but I don't have a "Privacy Section" anywhere in my settings.
I honestly had zero issue getting into games yesterday. I’m on Australian servers so maybe they weren’t overburdened by as big of an influx as players but like I said, no issue getting into games, played a bunch of ranked, a few rounds of standard. Only issue I had was trying to play quick match but I think that was just because no one was playing it.
The servers have been down for me since February. Every time I try to play a match, it says server error. This is why I haven't played at all this year.
it might not help but you couls try switching servers in the game files Go to documents -> my games -> siege -> (string of number/letters. Theres one for every siege account youve played on) -> .ini file, then scroll to the bottom and replace the default next to serverhint with whatever server you have. The keys right above it, it will be something like playfab/australiaeast Im very tires so might have remembered it slightly wrong but hopefully its close enough. You could try a different server and see if it works
I had a bug with the static on the drones a little bit ago. I died and went to drone view then started spectating my friend and it was just static no gameplay
The new standard mode is so stupid. For one most players were looking forward to being able to finally BAN CONSULATE and now with the new standard mode you can’t even do it unless you play ranked. Ubisoft also made it harder for newer players to actually learn good strategy for ranked because unranked doesn’t exist anymore (I know the round system atleast for standard is the same as ranked) but at the same time you can’t ban operators or maps making it even harder for newer players cause they can’t even ban the op operators like Jackal, Cav, Clash, and now Ram. Luckily I’ve been playing for awhile so it’s not as bad for me. Just like ranked 2.0 nobody asked for it and it wasn’t really needed.
