Wow! A new book! I will be purchasing it! Thanks, Brian McFadden, for keeping these great days alive for us! There will NEVER be another Perry and Della!❤❤
When I was very young, it was a regular ritual to watch the show every week with my parents. Re-watching it these days is a little like "comfort" food for me! Great memories.
So many times when I watch the show I wish I could be back there. Since I was lucky enough to meet Raymond and know Barbara's friends I knew what it was like. I'd love to have been at Raymond's parties, gone to their favorite restaurants, and visited all of the places in the book!
@@debbiebutler3310 So would I Debbie! Just to hang out at that fabulous cliffside home he had by the ocean, or his home-away-from home in the old Shirley Temple bungalow on the Fox lot! And I'd love to hop in his Willys Jeep and head for his favorite Mexican restaurant, "Pepe's." Or how about meeting Barbara for lunch at her favorite place, "Tail o' the Cock?" Those were the days!
Mr. McFadden, I used to see Mr. Burr all the time at Catelli's the Rex in Geyserville all the time when I was a kid. He was always impeccably dressed and geez, physically imposing - he was like 6' 4" and like 3 foot shoulder to shoulder. Heh, I'm 56 this year 😔
Hi Brian, Just ordered your new book last night. Can't wait to read it! I really enjoyed your other three books and am excited to add this to my collection. Thank you so much for writing these books! Patty Robertson
Thanks so much, Patrice. After talking with Raymond I found myself wanting to know more about him and, with help from friends and family, I learned more about Barbara and the show too. This latest book is about what life was like when they were making the original Perry Mason...where they lived, where they worked, where they went to enjoy themselves...a journey back in time!
@@baileyellard1 Brian Thank you so much for writing these books. I am so grateful to you for being able to learn more about these two wonderful individuals. Your books have brought me such joy!
@@patricerobertson5128 I'm so glad you enjoy them Patty. It's like the minute I met Raymond I knew I wanted to know more and more about him and Barb. And the more I learn the more I realize what unique lives they lived. I used to think I was alone, but now I realize there are thousands and thousands of fans who feel the same way we do!
Me too, Linda. I was actually alive at the time, but I was just a little kid. I watched the show every week with my parents, but I was tool young to appreciate what a special time it was. And, of course, I had no way of knowing back then, that I'd one day get a chance to talk about it with Raymond!

Raymond ♥️♥️♥️👍😃
I LOVED this book, Brian! And, yes, I would love to back in time and experience life back then with Raymond and Barbara!

I love your new book about Raymond Burr & Barbara Hale ❤❤❤
Thank you, Debbie. They don't make stars like that anymore. It was a special time!

Yeah, I felt like I was super-short next to him. It was the same with Raymond's friend George Kennedy. He seemed to tower over me.
