@@TheReal_FishFins thats not really a bad thing because you get free games and the biggest point is you have a hacker FREE experience with all games above 360 and PS3.
@@TheReal_FishFins a console is the cheapest way to play games if you stay legal. If you "uTorrent" games of course it's another story. A TV or monitor doesn't count here because it's the same with both and it depends what you want (size, Hz etc...). A series x is $400-$500. So an equivalent PC is double the price. In the end, gaming is legally the cheapest most efficient way on console. The best performance is of course on PC. But im telling this starts with $2500/$3000+ to feel big improvements...
I just built something very similar to this except; S300 black case, DDR5-6000, and the Radeon RX7800XT. No overheating issues at all. Love the small form factor and no RGB.

I got the same case as my living room PC. I convert it to vertical stand and add a cabinet handle in the rear for easy carry with some rubber feet in the front. I removed the crappy handle it came with. added pci-e gen 4 riser 185mm dual reverse. My rx 6800 fits perfect
3:35 careful recommending that power supply. It says 500w but it's only listed to give just under 400w to the 12v rails. It's usually much cheaper/low quality ones that "lie" about the total wattage and so your headroom, assuming that number is legit, would only be 400w for your main power-hungry components like the CPU and GPU.
You could've used a non-x version of the CPU since those Versions have slightly lower performance than it's X brothers, but they consume less power and generate less heat.
I have that case. I have an older build in it with RX 5700 XT. To up grade that build to elite strength is to use a 4070 in there. 4070 is way faster than 7600 and with DLSS 3.0 you can double or even triple it’s already amazing performance if you don’t mind AI frame generation. PNY has a 4070 that will easily fit into this case.
As a former mITX only builder (from 2014-2021) I've floated going back several times, but its neigh impossible to get full performance from an RTX 4090 in mITX. A standard mid tower is practically SFF. I've considered the FD Ridge mod, a case I've built a R5 7600 6700XT rig in recently and used to have its grandfather way back in 2014, the Silverstone Raven.
ITX SFF is just not popular enough to justify mass production on components. Therefore the supply is limited which in turn increases production prices of everything. Technically they should be cheaper than even m-ATX but realistically until they grow more popular between us PC geeks they'll keep selling for a higher price.
@@dorayaki5494 What does any of that have to do with GPU manufacturers charging more for less? ASUS makes full size 4080 and 4070 GPUs with normal sized cooler and no RGB that they charge more for than the standard models that require more engineering and more materials to make.
@@TheZoenGaming A popular in-demand mass item will require mass material orders which in turn will cost cheaper because materials do get sold cheaper when ordered in bulk. I work in a company where such happens. As for GPU's you've kind of got the point there... Popularity & demand dictates prices most of the time. If that wasn't the case GPU's wouldn't cost 3x their MSRP during COVID for example. Materials prices remained the same during the pandemic but they were scarce and demand was high. So PC components prices in general shot up like crazy. ITX goes somewhat the same way but as a different story. Demand isn't high so despite material availability they won't order in bulk to manufacture PC cases or motherboards which leads to a higher manufacturing price.
@@TheZoenGaming another additional line to manufacture with separate tooling, among other costs. and the volume made in bulk for ITX isn't as forgiving vs say MATX-ATX. less volume produced = higher price sold to recoup manufacturing cost. making less volume also means less risk for manufacturers as well. as much as ITX seems to be popular with people, that's not the same with the manufacturers themselves - with the complete exception of those who make SFF products specifically.
_sigh_ The ProArt card line isn't specifically made for ITX systems. Furthermore, there are 11 cards in the line up, from the 4060 through to an overclocked 4080, so they aren't that niche. The reason they charge more for these cards is because they market them for "professionals". I can guarantee you that these cards are not drastically more expensive to make than the normal cards considering that if they were ASUS would only have one or two cards, likely just the 4080 and the overclocked 4080.
Not sure how much clearance you have left on those DIMMs, but Teamgroup has their T-Create DDR5 6000 with Hynix M-die chips (the best for DDR5 right now) which is pretty low profile. I just built this. With the IS-55 CPU cooler, the 120mm does not fit under the motherboard but you can cram a 90mm in there using one of the 120mm holes and drilling out for another corner. Under the PSU forget it there is no room. But above the PSU you can stuff a 90mm exhaust.
Love this case since there's a handle on top. I do prefer the S400 since you can mount 2 slim fans on top, 1 in the bottom and can fit a 3 slot card. Planning to build one this 2024. 😁
Love your builds. I absolutely wanted an internal blu ray drive but was able to find something small that still allowed for internal drive and a big hdd drive. I used the a2000 which is a good little card but might eventually upgrade to something like this
I got some stability issues with the B650 + 7700X combo. Had to come back to the Intel camp sadly. The maximum you can fit in is likely the Asrock dual-fan 7800XT

When I did the math it was over 1.1k so not really budget. Also he didn't even use storage since the build is just scrapped together for views then torn apart after.
Some things to note, I hope people find this useful since I have 4 mini-ITX systems, two of them with AM5 boards: - The Thermalright AXP90-X47 full is the best CPU cooler when the case gives you up to 60mm clearance. If you find the heatpipes iinterfering with the VRM heatsink, use a little hammer to push them in just a fraction. I did this for my Gigabyte B650I Aorus Ultra and it fits like a glove. This way you can use any DDR5 modules. - In one of my systems I have a 7600X and in the other a 7700X. Both have a curve optimiser setting in BIOS. The 7600X has all cores to -30 and the 7700X has -20 on all cores. Both also have a temp limit of 90 degrees Celcius and a max 88W setting (PPT in bios). The best way to tweak your cores with curve optimiser is leave everything at defaul the first time, boot to Windows, then use Ryzen Master to test each core individually and see how much each core can be tweaked via curve optimiser.
@@tomdonis4315 We have 4 ITX systems in the house for various tasks. One is mine for travelling, the other is my wife’s for work and she needs to move it around, etc. I also have proper full ATX PCs for content creation and other tasks. I don’t understand this reply if I’m honest.
I personally cannot wait for the 8700G, or 8740G, or whatever they're going to call the desktop version of the 7940HX. I feel like the ultra small form factor and hand held PCs are held back by lack of BIOS controls. My Lenovo Legion Go and Minisforum UM790 are great performers, but they're either running really slow RAM(slower than the RAM on my 5700G) OR their MCLK/FCLK are running really slow, like on the Legion Go, with its RAM at 7500MT/s the MCLK/FCLK are running all the way down to 935Mhz, where as my 5700G will hit 2466 with tight timings(CL17-17-17-28), or 2500 with loose timings(20-22-22-39).
Watching ETAPrime flip the ram 3 times during installation. Relatable! Usual installation wizardry. Same with USB ports. You just need to be faster than the slot messing with you. =P Happy 2024 everyone
I was about to pick up this case on Black Friday... just i didn't know exactly what to put in to keep cost down and ensure it would all fit. As well want to put together an all AMD solution. Pricing in the video would be nice considering the talk about it.

7700X might be a little overkill for the RX 7600 you could save some money and probably wouldn’t even have much (if any) difference in performance using a Ryzen 5 7600
Hey nice build (as always) - but if not carrying over any parts etc - wouldn't Ryzen 7600 + Radeon 7700XT be better balanced for gaming (at a very similar budget)?
Too bad they don't have 7800xt graphic card low profile and put that in there instead of the 7600. Looks like a cute but powerful Lunch Box Gaming PC. On Black Friday sale I got myself an ATX system.... 7800x3d with 7800xt...pretty good solid 1440p and light 4k....
People may look for the best, but when you got nothing, something like this is perfect for me… If I had this build, I would buy Black Ops 2 on Steam so I can play the OG multiplayer…
Hey man! Have you ever tried using LP server fans for the cpu and air intake? I work around a lot of servers and while loud, they provide insane performance. I would love to know if using low profile, or really any server fans would be worth it or at minimum beat out regular case fans in such a tiny case. I know it would DEFINITELY not be for your average person, but if you want a tiny build but lots of performance and are able to sacrifice a drawer or closet space to put it in I think it would be worth investigating.
There's just something so alluring with a smol box packing so much compute power.

I guess that's as close as we'll ever get to your head... You're slipping!
great looking build
Looking forward to an emulation video!! 🎉🎉
Some things to note, I hope people find this useful since I have 4 mini-ITX systems, two of them with AM5 boards:
- The Thermalright AXP90-X47 full is the best CPU cooler when the case gives you up to 60mm clearance.
Defeats the purpose of ITX systems when you need 4 instead of 1 due to size limitations.
@@tomdonis4315 We have 4 ITX systems in the house for various tasks. One is mine for travelling, the other is my wife’s for work and she needs to move it around, etc. I also have proper full ATX PCs for content creation and other tasks. I don’t understand this reply if I’m honest.
u should do more videos like these my friend|!!! your videos are great!!!
I have the bigger brother of this case, the S400. I love it, have a 13400 and RX6800.
I like the idea of building a pc but have never done it before
Nice AMD builds👍👍👍
Watching ETAPrime flip the ram 3 times during installation.
Relatable! Usual installation wizardry. Same with USB ports. You just need to be faster than the slot messing with you. =P
Happy 2024 everyone
I have been big rig for years, but not by any conscious choice, and I think I am gonna go much smaller the next time I renew.
Btw there are more dimms which can fit in this setup and provide a better performance
Loving these videos.
Great build. The Radeon RX 7600 is one of the best budget GPU IMHO. I used one in a micro ATX build for a friend and it works great for 1080p games!
Theese boards cost more than an regular office build o.O' we need more brands to make em cheap
There's a 7600 XT coming that has TWICE the VRAM...16GB. May be worth waiting for any sales on the current 7600 or to scoop the new card.
I was about to pick up this case on Black Friday... just i didn't know exactly what to put in to keep cost down and ensure it would all fit. As well want to put together an all AMD solution. Pricing in the video would be nice considering the talk about it.
As of now with no deals, this build is around $1100 after tax.
I'm planning on building my next rig with this case or SSUPD Meshlicious.
Your link goes to the s300 withcthe gen 3 riser and I can't find the one with the gen 4 riser at all. Love the build though and I'm planning a similar build myself.
7700X might be a little overkill for the RX 7600 you could save some money and probably wouldn’t even have much (if any) difference in performance using a Ryzen 5 7600
I’m looking at the 7600xt. It looks like it SHOULD fit but it’s been a few years and I’m not quite sure of the case size in comparison
I have the IS50 which doesn't have a backplate. Tjis newer is55 seems so much less sketchy compared to my older one
i like the size its a 10/10 case
Hey nice build (as always) - but if not carrying over any parts etc - wouldn't Ryzen 7600 + Radeon 7700XT be better balanced for gaming (at a very similar budget)?
This is a nice build if you need to transport it. I would like a 4090 lunchbox build.
Small and compact can take it anywhere
Can you make with this case, an EGPU? and How? for gaming with a laptop or handheld?
I would like to try and build a budget pc with chimera os
Thanks, liked this vid
👏👏👏👌🙌💯 awesome setup!
My ryzen 7700x idles at 42c with a deep cool ak500 that I paid 30$ for I recommend the ak620 though since during a stress test it will throttle
Too bad they don't have 7800xt graphic card low profile and put that in there instead of the 7600. Looks like a cute but powerful Lunch Box Gaming PC. On Black Friday sale I got myself an ATX system.... 7800x3d with 7800xt...pretty good solid 1440p and light 4k....
a 7800XT would still fit this case, like the 7800XT Pulse for example
People may look for the best, but when you got nothing, something like this is perfect for me…
If I had this build, I would buy Black Ops 2 on Steam so I can play the OG multiplayer…
I love the case it looks like a guitar amp😂😂😂
Yes, run Steam please. Great video as always.
Any room to add a 3.5" HDD for some cheap storage?
