This is really a hoot. It seems so outdated but I grew up just a bit after this time period. I graduated from high school in 1972. Believe it or not many of us did feel like Jan (or Jen?) . Torn and conflicted. Friends who felt we were "squares." In the end it didn't matter.....I met my husband in 1977 and we were married until he died in 2003. I am sorry but there is much to be said for the "old values." I had many friends such as "Penny." Some did great and were just fine. And led great lives.....but some "had" to get married when they got pregnant in college and there was so much stress. To each his own...I'm glad I waited.....
"SELF RESPECT ISN'T IMPORTANT WHEN YOU'RE IN LOVE" oh my gosh

I love how the "bad guys" are the ones who make the most sense in these movies.
I don't know who you are who did this, but thank you so much. I love these old LDS so much and it makes me elated to share them with my kids
Were you going to show them so they could see how fucked up the LDS indoctrination system is?
"Now's the fun part! We'll join the crowd and pretend we've just come from Mexico City!" Such a card.
All the students look like they’re in their mid forties
Plot twist Norm dumped Kelly to marry Keith.

I head they train pilots by having them climb trees.
...So Norm dumped the red hot Penny for some ice queen? Norm is going to regret that....
