For those asking what happened to her, the industry has what's called A-bracket labels, corporations and bigger corporations. RCA Records was being formed and it bought other already weakening labels up such as Jive, LaFace, Geffen, and other record labels that were former homes of major artists like Keyshia Cole, Chris Brown, Usher, just to name a few. So when JIVE/Hitz Committee was bought up by RCA, they reviewed her contract and counted her, being a fresh artist, as more of liability rather than an asset, so much like how the industry works, she was left without a label to call home, and went on to lead a regular, but still successful life.
