Never heard of Bejlek before. Looked up her bio, surprised she was only 5'2 which is definitely on the short side for WTA. Some of those shots she had some serious power behind them. Was impressed and will look out for her in the future.
She is now the Atomic Ant of tennis.
Very pleasant watching Elena Rybakina plays. We can hear the racket hits the ball, sound of the ball hiting the ground, birds, sneakers on clay. YOu get the picture.

Hats off to Bejlek, Elena dragged her all over the court but that little girl held her own. I'm impressed
The score looked convincing but Elena had to save 15 break poitns and hit 0 aces. Still, whatever gets the job done, i'm happy with the result. Sabalenka is due for an ass kicking so im hoping we get a semi between them, or revenge against Collins.

Elena is ANYTHING but a robot! She is a warm, sensitive human being that many of those tennis divas out there could learn from!

Although, I'm super happy for Elena to win this match, I have to that I'm really really impressed by Bejlek's game. She has an incredible amount of power in her groundstrokes for a player of her size/stature. One to keep an eye on, for sure 😁
Bejlek is the quickest and fastest player in the WTA. That's why Rybakina has 0 aces. Many of Rybakina's serves would have been aces with other opponents.

America is so biased they rarely show Rybakina’s game unless it’s final or semi finals on tennis channel.
Despite of the convincing result, that match was a bit of strange for Elena. Fearless play from Bejlek in the second set, but the service game of Rybakina today was surprisingly weak. Elena should watch out against Kasatkina or Putintseva in the next round if she wants to confirm her role as a title contender.

@@user-mk8mq2kb5y I think Bejlek will have a better career than Linda Fruhvirtova because she is very quick and has power while Linda has neither of those qualities. However, Bejlek will only be very good on clay.

Bejlek has great lateral movement. Many of the woman have poor anticipation and weak legs so they often watch balls zip by them not even trying to reach for it. There are a few women who can move and this girl is one of them.
Agreed. But being very fast and quick is necessitated by her being only 5'2" in height. With that height you need to be very quick and fast to survive in today's WTA.
Such a shame Sara is so tiny. She hits the ball incredibly hard for her size, and I can just imagine if she had longer levers. Wow.
Good effort by the Czech, but that's about it. Amanda Coetzer, Melanie Oudin, Sara Errani, Jasmine Paolini, these girls were/ are super feisty but their fans shouldn't get carried away too much.
Bejlek's like what 1.65 - 70cm ? Impressive play from her for that height. And to top it all off she's really cute xD

Too many unforced errors from rybakina 😢….many easy shots missed…she will not get these many chances in the coming round….her serve was also not up to usual level….many points went to breakpoints

Bejlek will be a force on clay for the coming years. However, I don't think she will be successful on fast courts. She will be known as a clay specialist.

Bejlek tried to match power with power , you dont natch power with Rybakina when shes healthy iga Swiatek is a very good example of that , dont matcb power with Rybakina either use Finnesee to player her move her around mix your shots with volleys and drop shots then you might stand a chance
You can see Rybakina coach not even bothered he knows Bejlek is wasting her strength trying to go power to power with the power player herslef Bejlek needs to ask Iga swiatek abiut trying to match power to power with Rybakina SMH these players dont even do their homework before stepping into the court to play a top player

Rybakina had tough draw...she was suppose to meet kostyuk in R3 and Kalinskaya in R4 and Kastkina in Quarter...but all lost on their way...
