Hallie & Annie should've been pissed!! Who agreed to this custody arrangement?! They decided the best course of action was split these twins up, never tell them about their sister nor their other parent, make the whole family complicit in the lies & never see or acknowledge their other child ever again?!! WTF!! How are they not mad at Nick & Lizzie lying to them their whole lives?! They never even apologize to their kids! Both parents were rich, paying for plane tickets & visits shouldn't have been a problem for a vineyard owner & world class designer! Also what did they tell the girls about their other parent? Did they give them that raggedy picture & tell them they were dead?! Just horrible all the way around! As a twin myself, I really feel some type of way about this. 😂
Most of it wasn't explained, so we don't know the details. However, you are addressing it as their current situation - 11 years ago, they were both likely still working regular jobs. The parents will make their decisions based on what they can handle. I know parents that have adopted kids that don't know they're adopted and they won't tell them until they're 18.
@@brandontrammel4581 I understand that but Annie & Hallie were not adopted & separated at birth. They were split up by their selfish parents for no real reason. There was still no logical explanation to never tell the girls they had a sister let alone a twin sister or to split them up. They were a phone call away & still couldn't be bothered to check in on their other child & schedule visits? My parents split up, but they didn't separate me & my sister bc of it.
I completely agree! The girls have all the right in the world to be pissed and the parents should have apologized! As a twin mama I could never imagine doing this to my girls!
I mean I don't understand how they were both so content to pick a child and make the decision to never see or hear from their other kid again. How were they not at least a little curious or maybe want to see the other kid? Like even if they weren't financially capable of caring for two kids or not emotionally capable of remaining in a romantic relationship, they could have still sent the other kid over for scheduled visits or something.

Designated Hero: 1. The parents. They were people who got divorced quickly and for no adequately explained reason and, to make it easier on themselves, decided that each would only get custody of one child and never mention the existence of their sibling. Robot Chicken demonstrated the couple's despicable behavior in a fake trailer for a midquel. 2. Hallie and Annie essentially manipulate their parents into getting back together through dishonest means, as well as torment their father’s fiancée for both being greedy and getting in the way of them reuniting their parents. Earlier on in the movie, Hallie does instigate conflicts with Annie, but Annie does call her out on it to a certain extent.
Also born in 1998... I love this movie and couldn't even tell you how many times I've seen it. I used to have it recorded from the Disney Channel. I'd watch this or Ella Enchanted every time I was bored.
Yes I've been waiting for you to react to this movie Billy! It was one of my faves as a little children lol. I missed the premiere but I'm about to watch the playback, this is gonna be fun!
I think the original Hallie/Annie played Merideth's mom in this version. I love this movie, but it makes me sad to see Natasha Richardson (Elizabeth). She passed away in the early 2000s. She was gone too soon. RIP!
Been waiting on this one! Such a good movie. Nick and Liz were wild for thinking that separating their kids was the way to fix their own issues. Chessy’s reaction to seeing Annie after all these years will always be my favourite scene. I’m with you, Liala. 1998. I was actually born the exact day of the UK premiere of this film. Dec 11 1998
Y'all making me feel old as hell! 🤣🤣 I remember seeing this when it came out being so excited because I saw the date on the OG wedding pictures saying 1986 and thought "That's when I was born!" Being the same age as the main characters is pretty great when you're 11/12 years old, though. Won't lie. lol.
Is no one else going to talk about this divorced couple watching a movie about a divorced couple being tricked into falling in love again by their children?
I love this movie a lot when growing up... 1995 here. The mother is nice... but sad when she died. Natasha Richardson R.I.P. I remember that freak accident she went through... its sad how she endured that pain of crashing down on trees and being hurt. Days later, dying in the hospital from her injury... so sad. 😢
The thing about a scene in this movie is that there is a throwback to the original movie in the 60s i think it was, with hayley mills. The meredith character in that movie was called vicky and its the same actress who plays merediths mother vicky i only realized when i watched this movie again after watching the original i love little easter eggs like that haha
It’s crazy because I saw this whole movie for the first time as an adult because I didn’t remember the opening either. They put 9 months after the 11 years ima assuming because she was pregnant with them. Nah their parents make too much money for them to not see eachother at least every summer or holidays
you know how evil you have to be to separate twins and only allow them to have one parent in their life so cruel. How do you choose which one you want to keep or give up? lol but this and it takes two are still my top childhood fav movies

I’ve been waiting for this one!! My favorite Lindsay Lohan movie and this was her film debut! The Parent Trap was such a great movie to grow up with😍😍😍
I love this movie, but the idea that the parents would get back together in the end... If the relationship was SO bad that they couldn't think of any way to coparent, and their only choice was so NEVER see each other again, splitting up their twins forever? That's not going to be fixed easily, if ever. That sounds like they actually hated each other
I was born 1995 so I saw the VHS when I was about an elementary school I think. 😂❤ I still love this movie, because I am a twin, and I was almost separated at birth, so I relate to this movie so much.
I just thought of a plot hole n "how it should have ended" moment. When they were saying "how will you know which one's which?" my thought was...the dog. But then there wouldn't be a movie😆
Lol growing up is knowing Meredith is the one who really got played here. She was securing her bag and got thwarted by twin 12 year olds and bad parenting. If Nick and Liz had been better parents, they would have picked up on the switch so quick, the girls' plan would have been done just like that 😅 and who separates their kids and chooses not to see the other kid because they never want to see the other parent again!?? I love this movie but that is evil and childish 😂😂
I agree with everything EXCEPT the “picked up on the switch” part. It’s easy for US to know because we are the audience. We can’t prove we wouldn’t be as fooled as the parents. The bad parenting part is definitely the lady sentence you did.
I loved this movie and I’m a twin. My sister and I were born into a rich family I suppose. My dad was the only one working but we lived in a old Victorian home in German Village with is a suburb of Columbus Ohio. My grandma my mom’s mom lived with us to help my mom with us. I do remember my mom and dad letting us try wine at a young age. Obviously thinking we would hate it. I still hate it. But we grew up with lots of love and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

I was 17 when this movie came out. I watched it to compare it to the 1961 "The Parent Trap". which were some throw backs to it during this movie.
Billy once again shows us what a great dude he is, being a chill ex and looking great in pink. You and Laila both looking fantastic.
Also please give Wendell and Wild a look #bingers
Exes that don't know if the other drinks or snores..... is interesting
Chances are it was a young military marriage, but it's not really important.
I've meet people who've been married for years and they were still learning things about each other.
@@NightEyeStudio1995 i dunno how old Billy is but if Laila is 24/25 whatever it was can't have been too long ago 😂 but yeah...young people sometimes jump into things..it happens
@@JeM130177 ESPECIALLY MILITARY DUDES! So many get married right away because of the whole benefits things if children are involved.
@@NightEyeStudio1995I got married really really young plus the military thing. Ain’t no way you don’t know if your partner at least snores.
‘98 baby here 🙌🏽 One of my fav movies of all time for sure! Also, at 19:40… even I knew that was Here Comes The Sun by The Beatles 🤣 Cmon Liala!
This was one of my favorite movies growing up. And don’t worry billy you were not the only one that thought Lindsay Lohan was a twin it wasn’t until I saw her in Freaky Friday that I realized I was wrong 😂😂😂
Designated Hero:
@BillyBinges How is it that you guys were once married and don't know if the other snores or not??? LOL!
Mind your business 😂
@@BillyBinges LMAOOO!! Ah, so you're gonna just be that way, huh? 😅
RIP!
The original actress for the girls was a Disney actress named Hayley Mills. She also played a Pollyanna & That Darn Cat.
Meredith's mother was the Meredith of the original movie. They even gave her the same name - Vicky
Won't lie. lol.
parent trap is such a classic, wish they made more movies like these again
Is no one else going to talk about this divorced couple watching a movie about a divorced couple being tricked into falling in love again by their children?
I love this movie a lot when growing up... 1995 here. The mother is nice... but sad when she died. Natasha Richardson R.I.P. I remember that freak accident she went through... its sad how she endured that pain of crashing down on trees and being hurt. Days later, dying in the hospital from her injury... so sad. 😢
I know Liam neisson never got over it
@@pleaseshutup7053 Liam Neeson?... his name is Dennis Quaid (Nick)
Very nice to see divorced couples still get along and be friends doesn’t always work that way but they are clearly doing it in a healthy way
The thing about a scene in this movie is that there is a throwback to the original movie in the 60s i think it was, with hayley mills. The meredith character in that movie was called vicky and its the same actress who plays merediths mother vicky i only realized when i watched this movie again after watching the original i love little easter eggs like that haha
Fun fact: that boy that wounded uo at the camp is Lindsey little brother!! Also love love this movie so much i can quote it often!!
I hope the two of you do the original 1961 version of this.
It’s crazy because I saw this whole movie for the first time as an adult because I didn’t remember the opening either.
They put 9 months after the 11 years ima assuming because she was pregnant with them. Nah their parents make too much money for them to not see eachother at least every summer or holidays
I'm teaching my future daughter that handshake.
you know how evil you have to be to separate twins and only allow them to have one parent in their life so cruel. How do you choose which one you want to keep or give up? lol but this and it takes two are still my top childhood fav movies
Love this movie and I love the fact that they used the original girlfriend from the original 1961 parent trap as the mother of new fiance ❤️
They def wasnt married before 😂 because 33:06 girl Billy’s smile def had me weak at the knees from the first video i watched 🤤 (the first shrek)
#bingers please watch It Takes Two with the Olsen twins 💖💖 its cute like this too
You should watch the ORIGINAL Parent Trap and review it. I think that’ll be cool to compare and contrast the beloved remake vs the classic original.
Remakes usually suck but MAN I love the 1998 one. Had it on VHS
6:57 Is that Janice!? OH MY GOD (insert screechy laugh) 😂😂😅
When he said secret handshake.... I had a secret handshake with a classmate named Tiero Walsh in middle school. In the hallway of the building seeing me and we did a handshake... I still remember that handshake.
You need to Watch “it takes two” with the Olsen twins. The plot is kind of the same, but the weird part is that they arent acually siblings. The one is Living without parents and the other one is Rich 😍🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
I love billy and his exs wife’s banter it’s so adorable I can’t wait to watch This
Are they really ex spouses? I heard him say it in a video before I just didn’t know if it was true
@@javinrichardsonno lol it was a joke
Wait their exs or is that just a bit their doing for jokes and laughs
@@godofwind200 I’m confused as well because I remember Billy saying that in an older movie reaction video that he’s her ex husband and I was like “you gotta be capping “
@@javinrichardson he knows way too little about her to be ex spouses lol he was just playin
Put frogs in someone's bed at camp😂😂😂 good times
I saw this when it came out... i was 17, hahaha. Oh crap, I think I confirmed Billy's accusation that my age group of women is his unintended target audience 😂❤
Liala's so likeable. Such a fun addition to the reaction 😊
Aw thank you 🥰
The original parent trap was really good to.
I'm watching from the UK. It's quite funny because having you next to each other mirrors the movie. I always find English people sound way more English with Americans around 😂😂 though tbf the British twin in the movie is very posh 😂😂
So a bit of trivia: the woman who plays Merediths mother was the female antagonist in the original Parent Trap, Vicky.
I wore this VHS out! Huge part of my childhood. Lindsey did a great job at that age.
my friend and I got in MAJOR trouble when we were kids by running our well dry pretending to do the cabin prank scene over and over again during our bath time. 😂🤣 it was mainly the water balloon section 😅
In case anyone else wanted a translation of the french:
But you're kidding, I hope. Meredith is not the girl for you. But it's not possible, I'm dreaming. What...
Billy recognizing how fire Chessy is 🙌
The one where one of them is poor is my favorite with the Olsen Twins. "It Takes Two" #bingers
I’ve been waiting for this one!! My favorite Lindsay Lohan movie and this was her film debut! The Parent Trap was such a great movie to grow up with😍😍😍
I was about to say "Well actually Billy, I was non-existent when this movie came out." 😂
I love this movie, but the idea that the parents would get back together in the end... If the relationship was SO bad that they couldn't think of any way to coparent, and their only choice was so NEVER see each other again, splitting up their twins forever? That's not going to be fixed easily, if ever. That sounds like they actually hated each other
The fact that they dressed her in actual Chanel FOR CAMP!
BILLYYY'S BACK. It feels like forever between some of these vodeos haha
Yes! Trying to get back on a regular schedule again. Thanks for being here
the only boy at the camp is lindsay lohan’s real life brother
I was born 1995 so I saw the VHS when I was about an elementary school I think. 😂❤ I still love this movie, because I am a twin, and I was almost separated at birth, so I relate to this movie so much.
I want to do the airport hug thing, but most real life ones I’ve seen end up with people on the floor 😂
I watched this in the theater in 1998! I grew up watching the original and this remake was soooo good!!💛💛
I REMEBER THIS MOVIE LONG TIME AGO WHEN I WAS LITTLE 😭 I LOVED ITT
One of my faves! I was 13 when it came out, but I watched the original first and I loved that one just as much!
My teacher taught the class that "desert" has one 's' and "dessert" has two because you always want seconds on dessert. 😄 She was a nice lady.
That “IN THE NAME OF JESUS!” At 29:02 took me OUT!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This movie will always be my favorite 😂
31:42 Qu'en est-il des enfants? (Sounds like "con eh till days on fonts") = What about the children? 😅
“Is your dad single”?😭😭😭
I loved this movie and I’m a twin. My sister and I were born into a rich family I suppose. My dad was the only one working but we lived in a old Victorian home in German Village with is a suburb of Columbus Ohio. My grandma my mom’s mom lived with us to help my mom with us. I do remember my mom and dad letting us try wine at a young age. Obviously thinking we would hate it. I still hate it. But we grew up with lots of love and I wouldn’t change it for the world.
Annie saying shes always wanted a big sister is so savage 😂
This movie has so much nostalgia, in it. I definitely owned this movie on VHS, as a kid. Good times. Timeless times. 🤍
Billy’s Fairy Odd Parents t-shirt change had me distracted!Im surprised they’re not black lmao (look at other videos❤) Enjoyed y’all’s reaction. Do more! Another recommendation for y’all would be: The Little Rascals, Annie or It Takes Two with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen twins 😊
