When Heirlooms are released you can purchase the the heirloom with just crafting materials if you have enough

Not only do the abilities add a huge new element that cod doesnt have, but in general the movement and guns are harder to master in apex as well
Theres a 1 in 500 chance of getting an heirloom in your first apex pack and the chances increase with every pack you open (e.g. 1 in 499, 1 in 498), and as soon as you get one the numbers reset to 1 in 500
No, the chance never increases, it's just that the 500th pack you open has a guaranteed heirloom in it. The other 499 packs have a fixed 0.2 chance to get it.
they need to add halo 3 team death match style of play to apex, like you get a couple guns off spawn, like alternator with a mozam then you can pick up a r99 r301 or havoc, maybe one mastiff and one snipe that each team has to compete off spawn for and it doesnt regenerate the special weapons but maybe once after its first spawn, then you get basic white armor, and purple armor would be over shield, but first team to 50 wins the match,
i started playing apex two days ago and the day i got it i got herloom shards and bought the hammer withoust knowing i could pick other ones or that they were rare until my brother told me

For u to get more odds to get an heirloom u need to use ur crafting metals on the commons so u have most of the things so then u get more legendary and epic loot
This is not true I've tried it and have everything except a few legendaries and 4 herilooms with 47,200 crafting materials left over and it still didn't give me the shards until pack 468
been playing apex all day for the first time im still 100% a timny but its so much more fun to play already 👍🏼

Those crafting materials will come in handy if you ever want to buy legendaries with them and when event skins come out you can get them with the materials also, not like it matters to him lol

as a wraith main i think nick could be a good one. It suits the play style to be aggressive but can support the team in many different ways just with her portal. Ive been watching nick play for the last two weeks and i see he like a up close play style that wraith size supports

Percs in ur loadouts wud be considered abilities..like EOD, Ghost, High Alert, Amped, Combat Recon, Spotter..those seem like abilities based off the players playstyle..

Just save those crafting materials, then when the next heirloom event comes out, you can craft a good chunk of them and save money that way. Or, what I like to do is just save them for the next season, then grab the a legendary skin for the new character as soon as they drop and also snag a weapon skin for the new weapon.

I got my heirloom off pure luck, after 497 levels of packs that you get when you level up and i got lucky to get an heirloom shards. I have the mirage trophy heirloom LOL

Started playing on the day the game dropped. Didn't get a heirloom pack until halfway through season 5. I think that was my 100th Apex pack. I only bought like 20 and the rest I earned through leveling up
