Actually it was the mustache that made me want to hold part 3 back. I wanted all 8 possible dialogue options for Rhys in regards to the question he asks.

To be fair, whoever is voicing Rhys is doing an excellent job at it. I noticed the difference at first but now I can't.
@@xTGE Ray Chase (Noctis in Final Fantasy XV). I think he evokes the same spirit in Rhys' character as Troy Baker, but takes it in his own direction.

They definently are. Now that I've played tales from the borderlands again I can notice the difference, but before I had no idea the voice actor changed. the new guy sounds a bit different but he captures the spirit of Rhys perfectly.
I'm loving more and more seeing just how disconnected zane is from the story compared to the others. It's just a big vacation to him, and its glorious.

What's really funny is that Zane Flynt is the most connected to the other two stories. Considering he's related to Captain Flynt and Baron Flynt.
Yet he's working with the group that killed them.

I stand by what I said in the last part; Zane's lines, to me, are the most interesting. However, Fl4k is slowly, but surely closing the gap!
For awhile now I’ve wondered what Zane thought about the vault hunters killing his two brothers. I think I know now. Zane was raised by bandits, so he has a bandit outlook on life. From commenting on shiv being a “nice enough fella”, and nonchalantly killing another “nice fella” for a pair of Hyperion underwear, to wanting to ride the drop pod again even though it was “the worst thing that ever happened” to him. My guess, since I haven’t seen any official lore or anything about this, is that he just doesn’t hold a grudge. I think he doesn’t see life as extremely precious, the way a normal person might. I don’t know, just my thoughts.

I mean... most people from Pandora don't really seem to be terribly concerned about human life, if you'd notice. Guess it comes with living somewhere so dangerous.
Fl4k calling the mustache "face plumage" is the best quote in the game
The game dialogue in general is really good but dear goodness, you can tell that the writers were having a lot more fun writing Zane and Fl4k than any of the other characters. Like, the others go "so, mind if I throw that brain away, then?" and Zane's response is "gonna see how far I can dropkick a human brain. My best is twenty-one meters..."
Like, the others do occasionally have really good one-liners, too, for example Fl4k when talking about that stache, but for Zane, almost every single one of them is hilarious.
I feel like they occasionally tried to put some ProZD humor into Fl4k and i like that.

Moze and Zane are the best in terms of dialogues. :-)
My ranking based on the voices and lines:
1. Zane- A barrel of laughs, love his voice and his lines
2. Moze- Definitely not as good as Zane, Russian accent would have really helped her, but she has some great lines like the "Let's kick 'em in the dick" line
3. FL4K- There is just something about FL4K that clicks. Even though FL4K's a very serious character, there's a certain amount of deadpan humor to be found in his lines.
4. Amara- Wow, it is almost unbelievable how dry and generic she is, it's like she's not even a Borderlands character, not an ounce of humor. I really hope they improve her alot when they go to make her an NPC in the next game.

Cian Barry's delivery of this line is so goddamn perfect you don't even realize it. It's incredibly subtle. It just passed you by and you paid no attention to it at all. But the more you hear it, the better it gets. His voice is matter-of-fact but also sarcastic but could also just be dead-serious all at the same time. It's so good. They did a great job writing and casting this character.

Currently playing Amara at the moment, and I love every moment with her, especially with her siren powers as it reminds me of telekinesis and the force.

If you do continue this series, will you be doing side quests as well or just main quest stuff?
I feel like when moze makes a good lines, it's a banger line.
All I've learned from these videos is that: Zane and Fl4k have the best personalities, and are my favorites, Moze is just straight-up "soldier lady", like her too, and I absolutely loathe Amara. Like, seriously. I hate self-obsessed people that think they're the greatest. Which sucks, because Siren has always been my favorite class in Borderlands, but I don't even want to play Amara because of her personality.

@@SpartanManch Fl4k looks like the most fun, but they keep nerfing him. I don't know if he'll even be good by the time I get my hands on the game. My friends all have it, and they're getting pissed off, because they keep nerfing all the fun, op builds. They just nerfed Moze a bit ago, because she had a really strong build. It doesn't make any sense to keep nerfing characters in a mainly singleplayer/co-op game. What the f*ck are they hurting? Player enjoyment? People like playing crazy, op, fun builds in Borderlands. I know I love me some 1-shot backstab Zer0. Fl4k having an op build isn't hurting anything. What they should do is buff Amara and Zane, and make them more viable. Doesn't it make more sense to have all of your characters feel strong and fun to play, instead of just nerfing the really good ones over and over? You wouldn't need to keep nerfing them, if you just made the other ones better.

A lot of people are talking about how Ava is the worst character, well it just makes it more realistic, because some people suck, and some people are hilarious like Zane.

Zane’s are overall the best but FL4K’s good ones are the best in the game. The “brain separate from the others” and “feed it to my pet as a snack” one gets me every time
