For context about that "Wemo Check" meme- Haewon from NMIXX is the MC of a UA-cam series called Workdol, where every episode she tries out a new part time job. It's a fun series and Haewon is very charming and funny as a presenter. That original clip was from an episode where she was working as a flight attendant. It was just an off the cuff moment where she was checking herself in the mirror in an over-the-top way ("wemo" means appearance), but she's been recreating it a lot on variety/interview appearances since it went viral. Speaking of NMIXX, I want to take this opportunity to shout them out because I feel like they really came into their own this year- Fe304: BREAK is my personal favourite KPOP album of 2024 and the follow up Fe304: STICK OUT is really good as well.
