Facts My Brotha !!!! I had NO idea what was going on with 2 full propane tanks and a low flame. As stated; this worked flawlessly and quick.......dinner was saved thanks to this video.
My dad just had part of his lung removed due to cancer. While he is hospitalized my mom and I picked up a Blackstone for him because he has wanted one for a long time now. I couldn't get the thing to smoke during seasoning and was getting ready to pack it up and return it. You just saved the day. He comes home from the hospital tomorrow and he will have a seasoned, ready to go griddle waiting for him. Thank you!
Just picked up a used Blackstone today. Thought the burners were shot.Found your video and she’s burning like a champ. Thanks for putting this out there👏👏👏
You are a life saver!!!! Hubby cooking lunch for company…. Can’t get enough heat to cook…. Switched tanks…. Switched regulators…. Finally gave up and moved cooking indoors. I found your video and went outside and “fixed” his Blackstone. I gave you most of the credit! 😜
Man! Thank you so much! I havnt used my black stone in a year and a half.. fired it up this morning and flame was super small on high… would not get hot, but I turned on propane tank on high and then lit… I did exactly what you did and it was full flame! Thanks buddy!!
Ok ScottCooks, you just won "The Most Awesome Fix on the Internet Award". This.is.freaking.fabulous!! I'll admit, I saw the video and was like "Nah, this is not going to work, but what the heck, simple enough to try". First time, after three cracks, I opened it fully and had the same problem. Second time around, I did just the three cracks and started all four burners and it just lit up. Thank you, thank you thank you. You rock.
Thank you so much! Spent 20 minutes trying to figure out why my stone had a low flame. Did what you recommended, and it was back up and working in 2 minutes.
Absolutely on point Scott! I was about to Nick my BlackStone into the river. My better 75%, aka wife, watched your video. I humbly followed directions on your video. Grill is pure fire! She loves how smart I am… Truly thx Scott
Here to say what everyone is saying. Thank you. Saved me from taking my Blackstone apart or getting mad at Costco that my propane was empty. Lol appreciate your work.
Hi Scott, Just letting you know...you are my new best friend! Went to fire up my Blackstone griddle for the first time this year. I'm in western Kansas, we get a ton of wind, but today, April 9, 2022, the temperature hit 82 degrees with no wind. Time to grill out! Had the burners on high, a full tank of propane, and a flame that was maybe 1/8" out of the burner. Something's not right and I'm not happy. To solve my problem I went to UA-cam of course. I searched for something like: Blackstone grill on high with small flame. You're video came up. I did what you said, and suddenly, I was not grumpy anymore...you solved my problem. Thanks for posting your video. It may not seem like much to you, but it was a huge win for me. The steaks were great thanks to you. If you ever come to Goodland, KS, I'll take you out to dinner.
Just got my first Blackstone griddle yesterday and put it together. Fired it up to season it this morning and low flame. Took all the wind out of my sails!!! But watched your video and Shazam!!! Im cooking!!! Clicked like, clicked subscribe! Thanks Scott!!! 🤠👍🏻
This is awesome!! Thanks so much! Thought it was my Blackstone after being in storage for a year but I tried this and right away, it worked. Thanks again! Now we're cooking!
You just saved my husbands life! We always have trouble with the flame! We just did what you recommended and we have the best flame ever!! We love our black stone but it can be so aggravating! Now we know the trick! Thank you so much!!
You, sir, win my hero of the day award! I was scratching my head thinking that I would have to order a new regulator. Tried your little trick and BANG, fired up full flame! Thanks
Man I would have never have thought. You just saved me about 5 years off my life. I've been messing with girls for a few years and always had this problem Now I know the fix. Thank you
Omgosh. You saved us. Thank you so much for sharing. In the middle of cooking chicken, we had to switch to the big tank , and it was low flame. Your video helped so much. Thank you!
This man is heaven sent! Your video was straight forward, to the point and detailed. UA-cam give this man the top video award! Thank you for helping me and the many others who had this issue!
Thank you. I've owned my Blackstone for two years and cook on it four times and had same issue. It would get hot after a while ,put food on and as heat transfers into food griddle would loose heat and couldn't catch up so food basically stopped cooking. Noticed flame is always low. We've waisted time, food, and money on this thing so I just stopped using it and has sat for two maybe three years now. I started trying to season and cook on it again and remembered why I stopped using it, as it was doing low flame again. Figured regulator may be trash but going to try this. I've tryed disconnecting and staring over with some results. Hopefully I can get it to flame next time if not I was think I might need a new regulator. Very agervating.
Man! Saved the day. I unplugged mine after closing all the valves and gave it a couple knocks with my knuckle. Attached, opened valve slow and cranked pit. So easy! 😂
Thank you very much Sir!! In my case all was going well with the small green canisters and as soon as I installed a new $70 LP tank, my first BBQ failed because of the low flame; I was going to return it to Lowe’s!! I’m glad I saw your video and it worked!! Many thanks again
Thanks for the fix! Was in the middle of grilling and had to do a tank change and noticed on high settings my burners were barely flaming at all. Did what you said and fixed!
Thanks for posting. I just assembled mine and fired it up. I thought that this griddle had to be the lamest one on the planet since the flames were hardly even visible.
Was having the same problem. Bought a hose and still was having the same issue. Saw your vid and it worked should of done that first before buying a hose. Thank you.
@@ScottCooks man, I was getting ready to take the whole thing apart as best I could to blow out all the lines and clean the burners next weekend. Will definitely give this a shot. Thank you, kindly.
Thanks bro just bought a 36” I knew there was no way flame was that small but surprising cooks great good to know why and I’ll be fixing in the morning. Yup just like you crank it full blasto good to know
Well I'll be.....and all these years I've been crankin' that tank valve wide open first thing. Only to have low/no flame. You sir, shall be nominated for the Mt. Rushmore of pr'pain & pr'pain products. Can't wait to tell Dale....
Couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong this year to last year but thanks a million. I went to a bigger tank so I put it in a more accessible area and can just crank it open wouldn't you know I was tripping the regulator.
You’re tellin’ me for 40 years I’ve been buying new regulator hoses and this is all I needed to do? Yup! This fix worked flawlessly and quickly. Wow

Here to say what everyone is saying. Thank you. Saved me from taking my Blackstone apart or getting mad at Costco that my propane was empty. Lol appreciate your work.
Thanks bud! Totally did the trick and I didn't have to listen to all sorts of back story. Great video and straight to the point. Highly appreciated!
Picked up a used black stone and thought it was broken. This saved the day! I've never needed to do this procedure with a gas grill before.
My sister won one of these in a raffle at her job, so there was no option to return it. Thanks for the video, it kept her Blackstone off of the curb!!
i was just getting ready to slam my griddle. glad i got on youtube tonight. you sir, are HIM!!

Was just in a bind and your brilliance bailed me out! Thank you good sir!

Thank you SO much. My head was hurting trying to see what was wrong. This worked perfectly !!!

Man! Saved the day. I unplugged mine after closing all the valves and gave it a couple knocks with my knuckle. Attached, opened valve slow and cranked pit. So easy! 😂
Worked perfectly! So easy and saved me from the cost and time of unnecessarily replacing a regulator.
Not sure what happened on the last comment but get at me Scott. You saved my life at the bbq.
