If restaurant employees/managers are going to throw away still good food at the end of the day, then they have no excuses for not giving it to the homeless/hungry people.
I work at a homeless shelter in STL and I pickup leftovers from several restaurants. Thank God for their generosity, it helps out a lot!
It doesn't make sense but they say it's an health issue and they don't want to get sued.
Actually, that's exactly what happened where I live. I worked at a gas station years ago that used to give all our day old donuts to homeless people. Someone apparently cooked on one and sued. It happened before I started the job but this was confirmed by multiple employees and managers. No one's ever told me the results of the lawsuit itself, only our company's response of ending the free food...
@@bubzilla6137 It is a problem with leftover food. If someone gets food poisoning or prions or something and dies, the company is sued for giving that out. Same thing goes for not even half smoked cigarettes, if homeless or moneyless people pick them out of ashtrays in front of buildings. I noticed that myself, since the trashcans in front of local buildings were picked, they either put water or floor cleaner in them or removed them. That is for Covid-19.
I always love these videos where the CEO's of a company or place of business would go undercover to see how their employees would treat them.

Actually, his APPEARANCE was pretty nice. He wears new real prescription glasses. Their lenses were clean and not scratched. The frame matched him well. The lenses are not cheap. At least they have their non-glare (AR) coating. Who could believe he was a bum? Only totally dumb people.
This explains why I love all single worldwide women, even if they are Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn, and Pisces. Perhaps romantic loving flirty Cancer women.

CEOs should always go undercover just to test their employees. You may think a person who wears very simple clothes might be homeless or poor but he or she could be an executive

I recall about a Mystery Diners episode where a woman was a manager where she was totally abusive where she saw a new employee. For her, she did not treat her as a fellow employer, she treated her as her competition to see if she becomes the head boss. And the owner needs to protect their devoted employees from these kind of people.
I like Alex, and how he was kind to the homeless guy. We all need helping hand now and again . Beacause you never know when you will fall on hard times . And may need a help hand .

(beats up Karen) That was for trying to force Alex into being uncompassionate just for money, trying to guilt-trip him, calling the homeless man's story a sob story, kicking *him* out, saying the PLY phrase to him, putting reputation over compassion, expecting proof of understanding, telling him his kind is not welcome, refusing to listen to him, calling his money filthy, saying it could have been stolen, blaming him for discomfort, telling him to look at the discomfort you accused him of causing, throwing him out, reprimanding Alex for his compassion, faking an apology just because you found out the other man was the CEO, kissing up to him, calling it a huge misunderstanding, calling his other clothes disgusting in the process, using "real life not being simple" as an excuse to discriminate, calling giving away free food an abomination, using Alex's lack of experience as an excuse to call him being a manager absurd, and blaming him for justice! I don't think working in that environment is meant for her ,because her attitude stinks and she needs to have compassion for others no matter what anyone's going through they all need hlp at sometime
I look at it this way…..Karens are insecure and miserable people who are unhappy with their life. They turn their sadness and frustration into hate and take their issues out on others just to feel big.

In this video I agree with Alex he was just giving him a glass of water and it doesn't cost her a penny to be just nice to another human being and sometimes when I am looking for a job they doubt my experience and education so I just walk out and I will never go back and I remember last year I went to a restaurant and the manager said to me if I was going to tip the waitress and I said maybe and I asked him if he knows what tips and he said no and I told him that I am a Chef by trade and tips means TO INSURE PROPER SERVICE and I told my daughter and she said that she won't go to that restaurant so they lost out
