Those seem like pretty darn good quality belts. Here in Mexico i'm unable to get Chromexcel and stuff. The only things i use are veg tanned 10oz cow or steerhide. Pretty nice but they indeed dig a darn lot into your body. Maybe soaking 'em in conditioner and wearing them for several months will make them supple but that hasn't happened with the last one i bought a couple of months ago. Thing feels pretty much like a strap. Greetings
You could also try applying just a bit of moisture to the veg tanned belt and wearing it damp. Conditioner would certainly help and may darken the color
@@AshlandLeather I've put a bit of saddle soap to it but yet it seems to remain stiff. Maybe could i use another brand that has a more oil - heavy formula? Was snooping around for a nat cxl belt, found some here and there usually around $80 to $90. Just bought one, a real steal at $60. Love the content guys, keep it up!
Phil, nice belts like the wallets. The leather, timeless style, the buckle, tear drop holes, the price. The only thing holding me back is the thread, it's usually the first to break.

You may have mentioned but what is the weight of the leather in ounces?
We use 9-10 oz for belts
