Just absolutely Breathtaking. I am in awe.
Your version of this song may be even better than the classic record by the Boswell Sisters. Many thanks for keeping this song alive, and I look forward to many more. Oh, and thanks for the nice close shots of your hands, so that we amateurs can see how you work your pianistic magic.
I can't tell you how much I admire what you're doing Peter.
Simply Marvelous! Hmm............ Perhaps with inflation the title might be updated to "I I had a Billion Dollars".
Another winner, Peter. I love this arrangement....and so stylishly played! These old tunes are so full of happiness. So sad they are not played and sung enough today. Thank you for sharing your incredible talent!
The knowledge you have in your fingers and your memory of these songs are priceless love your videos
Sitting in Park City Utah, at the Sundance Film Festival, listening to Peter's incredible piano playing.... it's a good life!
Just lovely. It makes us nostalgic for a time we never knew... Love those ascending tenths in the left hand, too. Thanks, Peter. I hope I can catch you sometime here in the bay area.
This is TERRIFIC! Thanks Peter!!!
This is ridiculously authentic piano playing... and I don't mean that in a bad way at all, I mean it in a very good way!!! I wish I could play like this!!!
I just discovered this one Peter. I can't believed I missed it the first time around.
Another great song, exquisitely done as always. Thanks so much.
This is so beautiful! Makes me want to cry.
One of the best tunes of old times.A timelless piece. Thanks for uploading this.
I've loved this song on your CD, though this version had the lyrics. Thank you so much!
Excellent!
I've seen this movie. A lovely song, thank you!
Fabulous!
I found a copy of Bing singing this on The Woodbury Soap Program...a private copy made by Georgie Stoll for his own purposes. Bing never made a commercial record of it but its a favorite and Peter really does the melody and lyrics great justice.
wonderful! my nephew Bernie was correct about you.
This must of been one of Mercer's first lyrics
It was. Johnny and Hoagy had just written "Lazybones' the year before .
