Hi both, some nice vans there. One thing to note about towing caravans in UK the max length you can tow on a standard licence and a car under 3.5T is 7 metres so that Bailey would require a vehicle greater than 3.5T in weight. to be legally towed.

OMG wht beautiful vans there are some really nice ones but yes I totally agree thy have shot the prices up like you said you could sell yours now 4 years on nearly for lot more then you paid for it .....Can I just say Lynn hope you don't mind I think you have lost weight not that you needed to you look really slim ❤...... End of the vlog was funny Rob is undressing you with his eyes 👀 and you say cant wait to put pjs on and get something to eat honestly it was so funny 😂 ..... Plenty to look at! The A Class that Rob really liked, 2 Burner Hob I thought was poor for size van and money! Near the end the 21 plate Peugeot had 3 and a Hotplate!! Caravans very nice though!

I’ve just bought a Swift Bolero 2009, with 2010 styling (outside bbq point), layout great, large fridge and separate freezer, end French bread 🥖. Separate toilet/shower at the back. Great area to lounge with swivel seats. 4 berth 2 belts. No wasted seating area where nobody fits! These modern vans you are viewing just don’t do it for me. Comes with tv which swivels from bed to lounge, satellite tv installed. Full oven. £30k with FSH, 54,000 miles, brand new Michelin MH tyres. 2000w inverter point, solar charging. Bargain. Going full time next month.

Facing the age old dilemma of layout v payload v affordability. Love the bench seats just like you, got to be able to lounge. Ah well its fun looking, it could take us 3 years too at this rate! Great video both!! Xxx
Yes, totally agree. Age old dilemma. The layout is everything to us. The bench seats are great as you can lounge but i still love a U shaped lounge

Great vlog guys. So good to see so many vans available now unlike when we were buying two years ago when it was a years wait for a new unit, nothing 2nd hand and prices rising almost daily. However we did get our dream van. Wildax Solaris and Rob would love it lol ❤

Glad you survived the storm. It was very rough down in Cornwall and I was surprised at the amount of rocking and swaying that my motorhome was doing for a 2 day period!
Great to see some more examples of what is on the market.
Hi the storm was pretty bad wasn’t it , there is loads of vans on the market at the moment which surprised us 👍
As Rob says no where to lounge and you can’t sit up in bed with the sunlight, I’m with Rob my next van will be a panel van , easier to park and more stealth than a great big white box . Really enjoyed looking round with you.
Hi Caroline,, yes there’s no way to sit or lounge really in the sunlight and the best place to be I suppose is in bed really late just thinking of panel van I don’t know. I prefer space as easier to park as you say thank you xx

Three years with our Basecamp 2 now. The only van to tempt me away from it would be a new and even better design if they brought one out!

Had my windscreen replaced a few months ago on our Aclass Moho. First quote was 4k 😮…… in the end got it replaced for 2k by National Windscreens 👍
Hi wow that is so expensive. £4000 or even £2000 that is so so so expensive.
Lynn the Carado is the sister to Sunlight built in the same factory on the same production line in Germany with just different interior trims . The large front screens on the A class are very expensive and insurance cover is a issue and can be an issue to obtain as special order . We have had our Sunlight t69l for 5 years now and love it . Hi Rob and Lynn a great review as ever and some wonderful vans there love the class as well but prohibitively expensive especially brand new but such space inside love the Bailey and Kon tiki and the Chausson as well such light and airy vans
I think you are spot on and it's only fair they should change mattresses my parents did the same as you with a second-hand static we had your expected wear and tear but surely that's hygiene
Love the airstream and I much prefer your Kon Tiki layout to the one you saw I wouldn't want to mountaineer to bed😂 mind you a large garage for Rob to have as a man cave 😂 all the best to you both Daniel

Ours is a Carado and we love it - Carado is part of the Hymer group and will use a lot of the same equipment and fittings as hymer but a lot less to buy

We have a Carado coach built and it’s a great van but we’re just waiting for our new Bailey Endeavour B62 panel van to be built.

I looked at the swift Carrera and looks fantastic until you start tying it out, tiny oven, no microwave, wet room is to small, rear bed is dreadful to make up it’s so complicated, gas goes under rear seat which difficult to do, only take 3.9 gas cylinder which takes up the storage under the seat. Seat other side has 2 small drawers so gives you nowhere to store chairs, ramps or bbq.

Hi we bought him many years ago from an old curiosity shop when we had a caravan and he’s just stayed in there every since and again once we bought the motorhome ☺️☺️

Hi both, I'd like your honesty on our dilemma, as you know we tow a vw up behind our 9mtr kontiki but are possibly looking to get a caravan and jeep instead (caravans are much bigger inside and the car is a bit small for every day use now) we've never gad a caravan before so I'm interested in your opinion as you used to have caravans. Thanks both 😊❤
Hi Chrissy, that’s a tough decision to make , as we all know caravans are fantastic, also with your towing vehicle in hand to get about 👍but Motorhomes are definitely a easier way of life in our opinion, only you can make the choice that suits you, we wish you luck

Not sure Lynn looked comfy sat on the little side seat at the front of the A class
We had a Knaus MH couldn’t get my head round the continental front seating was solid made but no comfort
The prices are going through the roof come September there’ll be sales everywhere dealers will be overstocked happy days

At least in the Uk you have a great choice of Motorhomes to buy .Here in Ireland they are like Hens Teeth impossible to get. And the ones the dealers have for sale are way over priced.

Let’s hope so my budget has been steadily rising would be nice to see it drop a little so I can get more van for my money looking for a adria coral around the 60 k mark this will be our first motor home after been seasoned campers in tents all our lives getting to old for it now lol
