  • This video shows how to maintain and prepare the JSP Powercap® for use.
The Powercap® Lite incorporates lithium ion batteries derived straight from the latest mobile telephone battery technology. This has enabled the battery to be incorporated within the headpiece, so it is completely self-contained without any ancillary battery pack. It provides the wearer with a greater feeling of freedom and ease of use, and will provide a consistent airflow of 160 litres a minute for 4 or 8 hours continuously, with only 440g head weight.
    Conforms to EN12941 TH1P.

This variant of helmet sure has potential. Kinda makes you wonder why more helmets don't do this.

We do sell a range of products in the US and our distributors might ship to you in Canada. If you visit www.jspna.com and use the contact details there they will most likely be able to advise your best source of JSP products into Canada.

Just what the world needs - another silent movie. Asbestos ? Do the filters manage asbestos?

Robert Harding one would need a superior filter for that, but most woodworkers don’t use asbestos.

Hi Graham, the PowerCap® Active™ provides respiratory protection to EN 12941:1988 TH1P. Assigned Protection Factor 10 (UK classification) equivalent to an EN 149 FFP2.

@@JspCoUk thanks for your reply, but why not ffp3? Or at least an option to buy p3 filters. If you are dealing with fine dust particles then surely p3 is the best option?
