First, rudeness and craziness aren't emotions (just saying). And as a Psychology Minor with a Communications major here, I'd have to ask - who the bloody hell would be okay with having their brain literally cloned at all into a freaking video game?!?!?! That's almost some Milgram's Experiment or Monster Study level crap (look it them - they're both very famous psychological experiments. And the Monster Study literally psychologically crippled quite a few children against their will)! I could see, maybe, the guy Jax is from simply needing the money badly enough to be willing to have that done to him (considering Jax cares as little as he does, anyway), and whoever Caine is based on being the scientist, but that literally doesn't explain any of the others. I really don't get why Zooble, Ragatha, and/or Pomni would sign the consent form to literally clone their brains, since if anything when wrong during that original cloning process - their original consciousness could get trapped in the game. I say this because as an epileptic here, I can say our consciousness is certainly the electrical signals within our brains to a large enough extent, that enough seizures in the right spots, and well, you're no longer "You" on a consciousness level. So considering the machine has to be hooked up to your brain to an extent for a enough time to download those basic signals into an AI, we can presume if there's any sort of messed-up electrical surge, that could legit happen in that reality.
