- Texture-refining microdermabrasion rejuvenates damaged skin and removes layers of dead skin cells to help your topical skin care products work better.
Advanced Rejuvenating Concepts Microdermabrasion Protocol includes a deep pore cleansing with Fruitzyme Cleanser and Conditioner, light ARC Professional 30% Glycolic Peel and pass with crystal microdermabrasion, followed by extractions and finishing moisturizer with Advanced Recovery Cream and Sun Protectant SPF 30.
I dont see this procedure being rough or rushed.
This may be more a medical spa where treatments arent as relaxing as one would assume.
Im an RN/esthetician and none of the procedures I did were meant to be relaxing. They were meant to produce a change in the skin each treatment. I had 1 hour sessions that involved the treatment and cleanup after the treatment so the room was ready for the next patient. I also had no pre planned facials, they were all bespoke. So depending on the establishment, facials can be completely diffrent in their approach and goals.❤
Wow, client eyebrows are perrrrfect!!
Microbladed
Seems a little rushed and rough? Idk just my thoughts. Also would be nice with a gentle talk over on what your using, techniques and reasons as to why?
That’s what I was thinking. Looks pretty rough and rushed!
With microdermabrasion on the face it is advisable to do fast stroke-movements to prevent damaging the surface of the epidermis. The slower movements are often done on the body( stretch mark areas). It would have however, been more helpful if the video had subtitles to illustrate products being used. That being said it seems like a Clinique promotional video rather than a training one.
In esthetician school we are taught that the first cleanse usually takes 2 minutes. It just helps remove any debri / makeup from the face to have a clean surface to work on
Microderm facials are not meant to be relaxing
This is a treatment. Not a massage
I just got it done and it’s amazing!
Hi, can you pls tell me how long did it take you to recover? I will get it done soon ty
@@bLaCkRoSs3 everything should calm down within 48 hrs at least! Hardly any downtime!
No se hace para abajo.produce descolgamiento de piel. Ya que la microdermoabracion aparte de eliminar células muertas( piel muerta) hace efecto lifting
🌴🌺 Love everything she did. I definitely wouldn’t use the same water I cleansed her face with. Looks like a great treatment.
I was questioning the same thing. I think it’s probably unsanitary, maybe defeats the purpose? I don’t know….
That's the precise same thing I was about to comment. Re-using that water was putting me off.
Yes it’s the use of the same water for me too
i use two bowls of water, but i wouldnt use water or sponges i wiped off a peel with again
Thanks for the demo, but using the same dirty water from start to finish??? That really scares me away!😧
Your model eyebrows look nice...
That's definitely not a model 😅😂
Cant wait for more videos
Thank you. Great and useful video. Can you please make a video and tell us what you put? I mean the products.🥰 I like your channel. I follow you from Sweden❤️❤️
Sure thing! We put this video up fast for a training, but here’s the product breakdown.
1. Cleanse with Fruitzyme Cleanser and Conditioner: Lactic and enzyme based.
2. 30% Glycolic Peel: Applied with brush, massaged and neutralized with water.
3. Crystal Microderm passes
4. Cleanse away crystal residue with Fruitzyme Cleanser and water. Mixing the crystal and cleanser allows you to polish the skin more and helps pick up the crystal without making dust.
5. Extractions with Fruitzyme Conditioner on a cotton pad.
6. To calm redness, she applied our Advanced Repair Serum.
7. Not in video: Herbal Moisture Mask is a nice calming and hydrating option.
8. Moisturize with Advanced Recovery Cream
9. Sun Protectant
Thanks for following!

Great job ...thanks for sharing 👏👏
Those sponges need to be rinsed in clean water if they are to be used repeatedly throughout the facial. Or, use towels or 4x4 squares to remove product.
How is microdermabrasion different from a peeling?? Does it go considerably deeper? I see that there is a depth regulator but how deep exactly can it go? Below epidermis? Otherwise it is just a huge waste of money.
I was thinking the same thing about using the same sponges and water her face was originally cleaned with. Doesn’t that seem unsanitary?
This!
How many passes on the face & which directions? Also how long should the actual micro procedure take? Thanks!
It's a crosshatch technique # moving in one direction then crossing against those lines in the opposite direction. This helps ensure you have passed over the entire area without gaps. Usually one pass with this # technique (or, you could look at it as two passes: one = left-right and one || up-down). For time... about 5-7 minutes. A nice fluid pace. If you move too slowly, you risk bruising the skin.
Advanced Rejuvenating Concepts thank you, just one other question, in between passes should they be applying a toner to your skin, they did with mine during this procedure.
@@sialee5926 Applying a toner in-between is ok -- it's another technique. Perhaps she's experimenting or trying to make it more like a hydradermabrasion experience ???
can explain plz what did you use
Hi I'm new here ! What is the difference between micro-needling and microdermabrasion? I'm trying to see what is the better option for me. Thanks 👍
Hi! Microdermabrasion is abrading the skin's surface while the light suction of the machine brings blood to the skin surface to revitalize cells. It's great for sun damage, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, thicker skin. There's generally no downtime with this facial. Afterwards, your skin feels smoother, looks brighter, skincare products work better and makeup sets better. Microneedle creates tiny lesions in the skin and promoted regeneration int he deeper layers of skin. This is better suited for wrinkles, depressed scars. You can expect at least 3 days of downtime with this treatment. Afterwards, skin looks and feels firmer. In some cases, it helps breakup hyderpigmentation. Microneedle is something that can be done 2-3 times a year whereas microderm can be performed every 4-6 weeks.
Which way is better.. to do peel before or after microdermabrasion?? Some esthetician do peel after microdermabrasion. I haven’t tried microdermabrasion with peel, interesting!
It mostly depends on the type of peel formula you're using. At the cellular level, microderm creates micro lesions in the skin, which encourages rejuvenation. Our glycolic is concentrated, fast-acting and unbuffered, so we use it before microderm to prevent burning and deliver a more controlled treatment. We love combining treatments ;)
@@arcskincare thanks sounds good.. can we still use high frequency after extraction in this treatment??
@@nityalimbu Absolutely.
Great job. 👍I love it your way you did it . I love your product. I use your peel. Is really good 👍👌👏
I thought after she used that wand and opened up here pores, she shouldn't have used the same dirty water.
It's so amazing
So was that a peel put on first after the cleaning
My wife have done this treatment but around the eyes area still "light red color " after 5 weeks, Maybe the professional has pressed harder then should be in that area? This " red " mark color will disapper?
She is very worried about that 😒
Ah I was wondering what this machine looked like, it felt like a gentle rubbery vacuum on my face.
Can you tell what type of equipment are you using??? I love it
Thanks! We distribute Athena Beauty equipment. The model in this video is the 6638 microdermabrasion unit.
Does it helps acne scars?
Good job
I would love to know what she is doing and what she is using
It's a quick demo showing technique and using our products - arcskincare.com
At college we learnt with carlton crystal microdermabrasion machine, but I want one for my business. I cannot afford the carlton one to start off with. How do we keep the diamond heads clean or is it one per client? :)
I'm not familiar with that brand, but with all crystal-free/diamond units there's either disposable tips or the traditional steel tips that are washed then sanitized with an autoclave. It just depends on the manufacturer or machine model. If you're on a budget, you can start with a handheld or try the manual microderm wands (a tool with a diamond "brush" that you can use to abrade the skin's surface).
@@arcskincare Do the diamond tips need replacing after a while?
@@chloexo5603 Yes. They do wear down over time... but it takes a lot of use. It's not something that has to be replaced frequently.
What are you putting on?
Hola. No explica y no escribes lo que estás haciendo. No se puede saber el proceso
Gracias por los comentarios. Tenemos una discusión sobre microderm en este video. - ua-cam.com/video/DgTnuwe_eh0/v-deo.html
what brand of Degreaser do you use please ?
Our Clearifying Toner is a great skin prep pre-peel and pre-micro. In this video, it looks like she's using the Pro-Glycolic Peel before the microderm passes. You can view our peel solutions with a professional account - arcskincare.com/pages/aesthetic-professionals or access the Clearifying Toner without it here - arcskincare.com/collections/toners/products/clearifying-toner
Why would you call this an instructional video, but not say anything about what you're doing? Didn't find this helpful at all.
Hello!! So I just got certified in microdermabrasion yesterday and am looking at different machines to purchase! I have been trying to research the proper way to sanitize the diamond tips. Any suggestions?!
It's best to ask the manufacturer. We use disposable tips. however, true diamond steel tips and handles can be scrubbed and soaked in clean barbicide or placed in a UV sanitizer. Autoclave is an excellent option for complete sterilization.
Good afternoon, what is good microdermabrasion or chemical peel. Does Microdermabrasion damage your skin with acne holes /scars
.
You're not supposed to do it over surgical scars of any sorts or fresh scars (acnee), with acnee it's recommended to avoid going over fresh pimples (ESPECIALLY if infected pimples). It will reduce acnee scaring and black head scaring, most efficiently with crystlas, but it will have to be done through several seances (2-3), and you have to also do a lot of self work to make sure your skin heals properly after the treatment. By self work I mean good hydration, avoiding coffee, cigarettes, applying sunscreen (even if cloudy), avoiding a long list of products on your skin, making sure your skin is always well moisturized, all this for at least a week to minimum 4 days after treatment to allow your skin layer to heal properly and to avoid it being damaged again.
It is not an appropriate treatment for cases of severe acnee such as cystic acnee if anything you're not really supposed to use the tool on overly sensitive skin or already damaged skin (skin peeling off, sun burn etc).
I'd like to add that if the self care is done properly while several seances sounds like a hastle, we're talking about long and often permanently healed skin when done well on the clients end.
That patting on the bed is very disturbing to the client, no need to use the bed to wipe your hands. I had that done to me and it was so aggravating, I didn't know how to tell the esthetician bc it was awkward but i could feel every time because it's right next to the head.
This does seem a little rough and not relaxing
What is it with people putting chemical peels in metal bowls. You can’t have acid on metal 🤦♂️
I remember learning that it should be in glass.
Plz share the product and machines plz
To silent for me, not explanation and the camera angle can’t see what she’s doing in the nose
After doing a light pass of microderm over the nose, she does some blackhead extractions.
A facial shouldn’t be loud babes
is that a laser gun? or air suction?
This is a crystal microdermabrasion tip.
That doesn't look like a microdermabrasion machine it looks like a microcrystal machine. Please can you let us know what machine was?
It is microdermabrasion. This tech comes in crystal or crystal-free options. She is using the crystal option.
Oh Noooooo After All that effort, THE SAME DIRTY WATER! That should be an automatic flunk the class.
What is the cost?
For the facial, price depends on your region and the provider. In our clinic, we charge up to $120 for a full facial with light peel.
Is nasty. You never change the water 💦
No explicas y no pibes lo que usas
That looks so painful 😖 the way she treated her skin will be brutal on my face 😅I can’t stand too much rubbing no way!
ttt
As much as im sure you charge. You guys cant buy other office chairs. Dang chair noises got on my last nerve 😂
Bad hygiene.
Hyalournoic acid ..microdermabrasion.....glycolic peel....chemical ..microdermabrasion...
You can treat the face but no the neck and arms 💀
Neck, chest, arms, back... most of the body and face can be treated with microdermabrasion if the skin permits.
