I am 25 and I found Ram Dass from the netflix documentary "Going Home" 3 1/2 years ago while tripping on LSD a couple nights after driving 1600 miles across the country in three days due to homelessness and a lack of purpose. That night I finally gave in and surrendered and let go of a lot of things just enough to open a whole new world. I became hooked on his lectures and books which have opened my mind to many others including Yogananda, Ramana Maharshi, Buddha, Jeus and countless other saints and sages. It has been a hard 3 1/2 years for me and my life has finally stabilized enough to appreciate a lot more things, including the contributions of Baba to my life. I feel his presence in me even in this moment as I type this comment. I am still on a long and arduous journey, but because of Ram Dass, my life feels lighter and easier to handle. I will never be able to put into words how much he has affected my life. Thank you.
