I had always felt and thought that the Easter Egg hunt for kiddies was just what it is, an entertainment game for children. Second Saturday of every month we have a theme at our church for the people living with challenges all over our community and suburb. Something what they really looking forward to. So it is great fun for them and us, the volunteers. The main purpose of this is to teach the Challengers about Christ Jesus through praise, stories and song and dance and activities. So we had Easter Eggs on second Saturday of March, and who didn't like Easter Eggs. But that Saturday afternoon, I learned about the real message of the Easter Egg. The question for the Challengers was, what happens when you open an Easter Egg? I was thinking of the marshmallow Easter egg. Many of them didn't know. I didn't know either. Maybe you would know, but I was blown away by the answer one of our Challengers gave . When you open an Easter Egg, it is empty. Okay, and then? So was the tomb of Jesus Christ. First time I understood Easter. He has risen. It made so much sense to me. ❤🥰

If you are questioning your being saved, be happy. An unbeliever would never have that thought. So your questioning it affirms to you that you are. I was saved when I was 12 and during a revival meeting at my church, I questioned it. I told my Pastor about it and he said it is just the process of maturing as a christian. So rejoice and be glad that you did or are.

Thank you so much for this video. I have been wrestling with my salvation very recently. A few years ago I was saved but I descended back into sins that I deeply regret. I believe Jesus is Lord of my life and believe in his death, burial and resurrection. Ever since I have been diligently seeking The Lord and reading His Word I have noticed how much the enemy has been viciously attacking me and I recognize that we as believers are engaged in spiritual battle on a daily basis. I got saved way back in September of 1979. I had what I consider to be a pretty experiential encounter with the Lord. I heard His voice. I felt His embrace like a warm blanket around me. When I was alone in the basement of my grandparents house I knew that He was in the room with me. I can’t explain it except to say that I just knew. In spite of this encounter, I began to question if I was really saved. After a few months, God saw what I was going through and graciously intervened. I was sitting alone and I heard Him clearly say into my mind, “Trust ME!” I realized that I was trusting my own emotions to let me know I was saved. I asked Him how. He said, Believe My Word. He is the Author and the Finisher of our faith. Trust Him to complete the work that He began when you first believed. He is faithful and will do it. He is not a man that He should lie. Sorry for not including references, but if you’re in the Word you will them. Hope this helps someone.
You can only be free from sin after you are saved from it. Good indicator of being saved so to speak is no fear. Most people have a misunderstanding of what sin is. What’s your take?

I attended a denomination that used the exact lingo she is using and what it produced was a lot of doubt because the emphasis was on our sincerity, if we really meant business and such things like that. Focusing on my level of commitment gave me no peace, but I have peace when I focus on the work Christ did for me. You might think I'm splitting hairs, but I've witnessed many people who feel the same way from within. I'm glad she has peace and I hope it continues.

Salvation is an ongoing process not an event. We have to continue in obedience and seriousness to what Jesus teaches us to be saved. Working out our salvation with fear and trembling.
@@thejuelz08 hi sister, fear simply means fear. People have twisted it to mean awe and reverence etc but we must not change the word of God. When I began reading the bible I remember seeing fear of God in every book, and even in the Psalms where it's lighter reading. Salvation is Jesus saving us from our sins. I recently found a channel from a man named Thomas Albin Holmes he has lots of videos of information that explains the word of God very well, truthfully, that not everyone wants to hear. . . . and yet I STILL sin! I accept the sacrifice Christ made on the cross for me . . . I accept Him as my Lord and Savior. And yet I STILL return to sin! That's what crushes me inside, and I just don't feel like there's any way I could be redeemed. I know that a Christian is an irredeemable sinner, redeemed anyway. But we have to repent of our sin . . . and I do . . . and then I sin AGAIN. The thief on the cross COULDN'T sin again - he had no opportunity to do so. But when given that opportunity, I do. Over and over. And thus my worry.

I worry all the time if I am because of my sin problems and not being close to God and all sorts of confusion a real mixture of things but all I know is I want god and to love anf honour Jesus and have that relationship with Him but I definitey lack something. Hi there. I gave my life to the Lord in 2019. But I still struggle with alcohol. I hate that I enjoy it so much. Did anyone here take a while to give up substance abuse??
Well, I don't really enjoy alcohol that much but I struggle with Faith. Like sometimes I think he doesn't love me cuz I can't imagine and had a couple bad experiences with way too much alcohol. He saved me life tho and not let me die. When I'm absolutely hopeless and alone I end up drinking so much I almost... u know. But he always made sure I won't die cuz of it. And for days I'm crying everyday, having bad dreams cuz I try to get close to him again. I think Satan tries so hard to see me breaking down and throwing the towel again rather than trust in the Lord that he truly loves me and has a great Plan for my life. Even though I believe he's alive, I just want more than just that knowing he's somewhere here. I actually don't know what to tell you but I know one thing for sure: He is Almighty and powerful. And patient and knows our struggles and pain. And I like to believe whenever we break down and cry he's crying with us through the pain.
Yeah I hear you. He is a merciful God for sure. I just question my salvation because God says we will know them by their fruits. And my fruit is me being a drunkard. Satan is sneaky and causes to doubt but the Lord's word says not to trust in our work. No amount of sobriety will earn my place in heaven, I just want to show evidence that I am saved. Who ever was instantly absolutely perfect holy when he came to Christ? Well not me. And if we backslide and repent he is forgiving. The word saved in Greek is an infinitive. God’s elect were saved. They’re being saved, and they will be saved. It’s not a moment time it’s the process from beginning to end. Being born again is a moment in time when God resurrects your heart which is the first resurrection, the church, it doesn’t look like anybody on here has had that happen they don’t have the truth, which is the Holy Spirit they believe in the Jesus in which Paul said was a different Jesus, a different spirit and a different gospel.

So we humans get to decide whether we are going to Heaven or not, not God. Nice. I can see how that appeals to people. No worry about being a sinner. You just declare you are going to Heaven based on your feelings about yourself and most important, based on what you desire. Yes, that's obviously appealing.

I would like to point out, that there is another story of salvation in the Bible, and that is about Mary Magdalene. Luke 8: 48 - 50. (short version). Jesus speaking; And he said to her, "Thy sins are forgiven." And they who were at table with him began to say within themselves, "Who is this man, who even forgives sins?" But he said to the woman, "Thy faith has saved thee; go in peace" (The full story is from Luke 7; 36, through 8; 50.)
Question. Did the ones of Luke 8:13 who received the word with joy and believed for a while have assurance of salvation? Was not their salvation genuine?
The story about the thief on the cross is beautiful but unless you die immediately after accepting Christ it isnt always applicable to those of us who have been Christians for awhile. Salvation requires repentance and sanctification and growing in Christ.
If you believe the Gospel, you are. There are NO works you can do to be saved. Do you believe in your heart that Jesus Died, was Buried and Resurrected? If so, you are saved!

I was saved but my question is this if you sin and repent and sin and repent are you still saved? My best friend told me that once you are truly saved you cannot lise your salvation! My friend was truely a woman of great fait she had helped me many times when I didn't understant or have doubts!! I have talked to preachers and asked if you can lose your salvation if you do not reoent or forget to repent and die would you still have your name writtenin the book of life! Salvation today is by believing the Gospel of Christ. Rom 1:16. What is the gospel? 1 Cor 15:3-4. The moment you believe the Gospel of your salvation, you are SEALED by the Holy Spirit of Promise until redeemed. Eph 1: 13-14. This is how you are saved today in this Dispensation of Grace.
Since I’m in 3 minuets and yet to come to the title’s topic, allow me to respond to your request for personal Christian Easter experiences: Passover is the feast commanded to memorialize, that falls on Nisan 14 (see all of Exodus 12 but specifically verse 6). Christ is our Passover lamb who died on Nisan 14 (Matthew 26:2 and others). In the Hebrew feast Pasha (meaning Spring holiday) commanded by God, we see the Passover feast on the 14th, several days of unleavened bread, and then Christ rose the next Sunday morning as the 8th day. In Acts 12:4 we see the only time the Hebrew word Pasha (Spring Holiday) is translated as Easter, when after which Peter was to be killed. Why Easter here? Because in the previous verse we see that Peter was taken during the days of unleavened bread, which come AFTER the Passover Pasha, and so we know that the Pasha referenced here is the Pagan spring Holiday of Easter. Now, the long confusion regarding Easter and Passover and the Resurrection all took place hundreds of years later when Constantine, the quasi-Christian Roman ruler declared that Easter was the Spring Holiday that would be celebrated by Christians and pagans alike in the Roman Empire. Just pick your reason and have fun. Easter is the Pagan Holiday honoring the goddess of fertility, spring life, with bunnies, eggs, and sex. So the Catholic Church went about reinventing these things to have Christian meanings, and the actual details were forgotten as to exactly just what we’re were memorializing: his death, his resurrection, all on the same day? Ah who cares, it’s fun! Oddly enough, real Christians refused, and instead held to the biblical Nisan 14 command to remember his sacrifice. Nowhere in the New Testament do we find a command to memorialize his resurrection. Not that it’s forbidden, just not commanded. So why do we choose to memorialize the un forbidden and ignore the commanded? Then we see the Pagan version of the Christian church excommunicate the quartadecimns (what they came to call the keepers of Nisan 14) and even burn them at the stake for disobeying the Church, all in the name of Christ. So now here is the question: is ignorance a valid reason to be wrong in worshipping the God of Truth? God gave us the specific feasts for this very reason: to avoid or correct the errors driven into our faith. So, this year (2024) Passover (Nisan 14) falls on April 22. Blessed Passover!

Here's where I struggle with this free pass, a Hail Mary, if you will (I'm Catholic). Christians today have had 2000 years of teachings telling us that "I Am" the way. Meaning that Jeasus is telling us to behave as he behaved. Not just that he came to absolve us of our sins, but that he is the example of how we should live and act. And, that we are all made in the image of God. The thief was just learning this information. Are Christian's today, who have even a basic understanding of these teachings, making a good enough effort? I'm old enough to remember the "WWJD" rubber bracelets that were popular for a while, but at the time I didn't consider the gravity of what that phrase meant. Are we truly living up to His standard? Obviously, we are flawed in comparison, but we are capable of doing so much more than just being a generally nice person. There are so many lesser examples,but a universal one would be actors and athletes who say that they're #blessed because they're successful with material things, and possibly a nice person in general, but are they really living by example? I'm far from perfect. I can't tell you how many times I've told a homeless person that I didn't have any money, or heard people gossiping and not point out an alternative viewpoint, gotten angry over an egotistical slight, or use my free time to be of service... If we already know that everyone is made in the image of God, but our actions are selfish, is it enough to just say that we've got a free pass because Jesus sacrificed, and ignore the fact that he also gave us a rulebook?
Gods grace only applies to a very few - Ephesians 1:4-6 , Mathew 7:13 - so god creates and predestined only a very small proportion of his creation to go to heaven and the rest to go to Hell . God truly loves everyone .

Great post, I like it. Do you know a lot of people they say the prayer 30 years ago. Yet, they live in adultery fornication h, having a bitter heart full of unforgiveness and break most of the 10 Commandments all the time. you have to be spotless before the lord. This requires repenting daily before him. Getting rid of sin and iniquity. Getting under the shed blood. If you do not do these things you can forget about Heaven. It’s very clear. You must continually stay Close to the Lord. Or you will be going through the great tribulation, which is on our doorstep. Read your Bible every day pray and repent daily. Spend time worshiping and talking to the Lord. If you don’t believe these things, and you probably are going through the great tribulation to learn them.
The first part of your comment is *great*. I know "believers" who live in daily sin, shacking with unmarried partners, etc., and that does not offer ANY reassurance that they are saved and that they have made Jesus Lord of anything. But after that you are patently wrong. We are *spotless* before Christ because of *His* righteousness and *His* work on the cross, and *His* defeat of death. Are you trying to say that Jesus' death *got* us saved but it's our _works_ that have to *keep* us saved? That is a false gospel, and one that leads to *fear*, not reassurance. Which you will be here for. There is no escape. If you’re not part of 144,000 taken during the three days of darkness or just before after. During that time, God will take all the children out of the world to protect them. Women will learn to mourn. They will learn to wail. After three days of sitting in darkness. I had always felt and thought that the Easter Egg hunt for kiddies was just what it is, an entertainment game for children. Second Saturday of every month we have a theme at our church for the people living with challenges all over our community and suburb. Something what they really looking forward to. So it is great fun for them and us, the volunteers. The main purpose of this is to teach the Challengers about Christ Jesus through praise, stories and song and dance and activities. So we had Easter Eggs on second Saturday of March, and who didn't like Easter Eggs. But that Saturday afternoon, I learned about the real message of the Easter Egg. The question for the Challengers was, what happens when you open an Easter Egg? I was thinking of the marshmallow Easter egg. Many of them didn't know. I didn't know either. Maybe you would know, but I was blown away by the answer one of our Challengers gave . When you open an Easter Egg, it is empty. Okay, and then? So was the tomb of Jesus Christ. First time I understood Easter. He has risen. It made so much sense to me. ❤🥰

If you are questioning your being saved, be happy. An unbeliever would never have that thought. So your questioning it affirms to you that you are. I was saved when I was 12 and during a revival meeting at my church, I questioned it. I told my Pastor about it and he said it is just the process of maturing as a christian. So rejoice and be glad that you did or are.

I got saved way back in September of 1979. I had what I consider to be a pretty experiential encounter with the Lord. I heard His voice. I felt His embrace like a warm blanket around me. When I was alone in the basement of my grandparents house I knew that He was in the room with me. I can’t explain it except to say that I just knew. In spite of this encounter, I began to question if I was really saved. After a few months, God saw what I was going through and graciously intervened. I was sitting alone and I heard Him clearly say into my mind, “Trust ME!” I realized that I was trusting my own emotions to let me know I was saved. I asked Him how. He said, Believe My Word. He is the Author and the Finisher of our faith. Trust Him to complete the work that He began when you first believed. He is faithful and will do it. He is not a man that He should lie. Sorry for not including references, but if you’re in the Word you will them. Hope this helps someone.

I attended a denomination that used the exact lingo she is using and what it produced was a lot of doubt because the emphasis was on our sincerity, if we really meant business and such things like that. Focusing on my level of commitment gave me no peace, but I have peace when I focus on the work Christ did for me. You might think I'm splitting hairs, but I've witnessed many people who feel the same way from within. I'm glad she has peace and I hope it continues.

When I began reading the bible I remember seeing fear of God in every book, and even in the Psalms where it's lighter reading. Salvation is Jesus saving us from our sins. But we have to repent of our sin . . . and I do . . . and then I sin AGAIN. The thief on the cross COULDN'T sin again - he had no opportunity to do so. But when given that opportunity, I do. Over and over. And thus my worry.
We must repent of our sins in order to get to heaven as well!

I worry all the time if I am because of my sin problems and not being close to God and all sorts of confusion a real mixture of things but all I know is I want god and to love anf honour Jesus and have that relationship with Him but I definitey lack something. Hi there. I gave my life to the Lord in 2019. But I still struggle with alcohol. I hate that I enjoy it so much. Did anyone here take a while to give up substance abuse??
Well, I don't really enjoy alcohol that much but I struggle with Faith. Like sometimes I think he doesn't love me cuz I can't imagine and had a couple bad experiences with way too much alcohol. He saved me life tho and not let me die. When I'm absolutely hopeless and alone I end up drinking so much I almost... u know. But he always made sure I won't die cuz of it. And for days I'm crying everyday, having bad dreams cuz I try to get close to him again. I think Satan tries so hard to see me breaking down and throwing the towel again rather than trust in the Lord that he truly loves me and has a great Plan for my life. Even though I believe he's alive, I just want more than just that knowing he's somewhere here.
I actually don't know what to tell you but I know one thing for sure: He is Almighty and powerful. And patient and knows our struggles and pain. And I like to believe whenever we break down and cry he's crying with us through the pain.

The word saved in Greek is an infinitive. God’s elect were saved. They’re being saved, and they will be saved. It’s not a moment time it’s the process from beginning to end. Being born again is a moment in time when God resurrects your heart which is the first resurrection, the church, it doesn’t look like anybody on here has had that happen they don’t have the truth, which is the Holy Spirit they believe in the Jesus in which Paul said was a different Jesus, a different spirit and a different gospel.

The story about the thief on the cross is beautiful but unless you die immediately after accepting Christ it isnt always applicable to those of us who have been Christians for awhile. Salvation requires repentance and sanctification and growing in Christ.
If you believe the Gospel, you are. There are NO works you can do to be saved. Do you believe in your heart that Jesus Died, was Buried and Resurrected? If so, you are saved!
What can we pray to get saved?
Nothing. At least not the way most people “pray” today.

I was saved but my question is this if you sin and repent and sin and repent are you still saved? My best friend told me that once you are truly saved you cannot lise your salvation! My friend was truely a woman of great fait she had helped me many times when I didn't understant or have doubts!! I have talked to preachers and asked if you can lose your salvation if you do not reoent or forget to repent and die would you still have your name writtenin the book of life! Preacher said: you still will go to heaven name verse after verse to back jtup ! Then another preacher says you can lose your salvation name verse after verse bow i am really confuse cuz I do sin and repent but when or uf Jesus says no you cannot come to heaven you are to much of a sinner! Since I’m in 3 minuets and yet to come to the title’s topic, allow me to respond to your request for personal Christian Easter experiences:
Passover is the feast commanded to memorialize, that falls on Nisan 14 (see all of Exodus 12 but specifically verse 6).
Christ is our Passover lamb who died on Nisan 14 (Matthew 26:2 and others).
In the Hebrew feast Pasha (meaning Spring holiday) commanded by God, we see the Passover feast on the 14th, several days of unleavened bread, and then Christ rose the next Sunday morning as the 8th day.
In Acts 12:4 we see the only time the Hebrew word Pasha (Spring Holiday) is translated as Easter, when after which Peter was to be killed. Why Easter here?
Because in the previous verse we see that Peter was taken during the days of unleavened bread, which come AFTER the Passover Pasha, and so we know that the Pasha referenced here is the Pagan spring Holiday of Easter.
Now, the long confusion regarding Easter and Passover and the Resurrection all took place hundreds of years later when Constantine, the quasi-Christian Roman ruler declared that Easter was the Spring Holiday that would be celebrated by Christians and pagans alike in the Roman Empire. Just pick your reason and have fun.
Easter is the Pagan Holiday honoring the goddess of fertility, spring life, with bunnies, eggs, and sex.
So the Catholic Church went about reinventing these things to have Christian meanings, and the actual details were forgotten as to exactly just what we’re were memorializing: his death, his resurrection, all on the same day? Ah who cares, it’s fun!
Oddly enough, real Christians refused, and instead held to the biblical Nisan 14 command to remember his sacrifice.
Nowhere in the New Testament do we find a command to memorialize his resurrection. Not that it’s forbidden, just not commanded. So why do we choose to memorialize the un forbidden and ignore the commanded?
Then we see the Pagan version of the Christian church excommunicate the quartadecimns (what they came to call the keepers of Nisan 14) and even burn them at the stake for disobeying the Church, all in the name of Christ.
So now here is the question: is ignorance a valid reason to be wrong in worshipping the God of Truth?
God gave us the specific feasts for this very reason: to avoid or correct the errors driven into our faith.
So, this year (2024) Passover (Nisan 14) falls on April 22.

Here's where I struggle with this free pass, a Hail Mary, if you will (I'm Catholic). Christians today have had 2000 years of teachings telling us that "I Am" the way. Meaning that Jeasus is telling us to behave as he behaved. Not just that he came to absolve us of our sins, but that he is the example of how we should live and act. And, that we are all made in the image of God. The thief was just learning this information. Are Christian's today, who have even a basic understanding of these teachings, making a good enough effort? I'm old enough to remember the "WWJD" rubber bracelets that were popular for a while, but at the time I didn't consider the gravity of what that phrase meant. Are we truly living up to His standard? Obviously, we are flawed in comparison, but we are capable of doing so much more than just being a generally nice person. There are so many lesser examples,but a universal one would be actors and athletes who say that they're #blessed because they're successful with material things, and possibly a nice person in general, but are they really living by example? I'm far from perfect. I can't tell you how many times I've told a homeless person that I didn't have any money, or heard people gossiping and not point out an alternative viewpoint, gotten angry over an egotistical slight, or use my free time to be of service... If we already know that everyone is made in the image of God, but our actions are selfish, is it enough to just say that we've got a free pass because Jesus sacrificed, and ignore the fact that he also gave us a rulebook?
Gods grace only applies to a very few - Ephesians 1:4-6 , Mathew 7:13 - so god creates and predestined only a very small proportion of his creation to go to heaven and the rest to go to Hell . God truly loves everyone .
How is one saved? must have faith to believe 1 Corinthians 15:1-8 which is the grace gospel. Ephesians 2:8 tells us we receive the faith from God to believe because the faith to believe IS NOT OF YOURSELVES IT IS A GIFT OF GOD, WE ARE NOT SAVED BY FAITH , WE ARE SAVED THROUGH FAITH We are in the dispensation of grace Ephesians 3:2 We are NOT in the dispensation of the KINGDOM GOSPEL for salvation. Great post, I like it. Do you know a lot of people they say the prayer 30 years ago. Yet, they live in adultery fornication h, having a bitter heart full of unforgiveness and break most of the 10 Commandments all the time. you have to be spotless before the lord. This requires repenting daily before him. Getting rid of sin and iniquity. Getting under the shed blood. If you do not do these things you can forget about Heaven. It’s very clear. You must continually stay Close to the Lord. Or you will be going through the great tribulation, which is on our doorstep. Read your Bible every day pray and repent daily. Spend time worshiping and talking to the Lord. If you don’t believe these things, and you probably are going through the great tribulation to learn them.
The first part of your comment is *great*. I know "believers" who live in daily sin, shacking with unmarried partners, etc., and that does not offer ANY reassurance that they are saved and that they have made Jesus Lord of anything.
But after that you are patently wrong. We are *spotless* before Christ because of *His* righteousness and *His* work on the cross, and *His* defeat of death. Are you trying to say that Jesus' death *got* us saved but it's our _works_ that have to *keep* us saved? That is a false gospel, and one that leads to *fear*, not reassurance. That sounds very like what my Catholic friend believes, and I'm so sad for anyone who has to live in the fear that they unknowingly sinned and, because they died without being convicted of *that one sin*, they are consigned to hell. How are you going to count for an accumulation of let’s say taxation You couldn’t pay at the first time And you can’t pay it now You must take those wages daily weekly monthly, yearly, and bring them to the Lord did not David confess his sins and inquity. Paul says to work out your salvation with fear and trembling. So if you’re buying the prosperity message. That there’s a big fat, blessing waiting for you. You are in fact listening to false Prophets false preachers liars. They lie, in the name of Jesus. This is a group called the NAR. They are also known as the new apostolic reformation. All I’ve been saying in the whole message is stay close to the cross. Or he will say, I never knew you. It also says it was 10 virgins five foolish five wise. There’s one true way. We will know how the Lord feels about us. During the three days of darkness. Many and I do mean many. Will be sitting in darkness for three days, searching their own hearts. Then the Lord is going to teach a very tough lesson. He’s going to teach people how to mourn, and how to wail in great grief. Out of his mercy. Before the tribulation gets bad. Which you will be here for. There is no escape. If you’re not part of 144,000 taken during the three days of darkness or just before after. During that time, God will take all the children out of the world to protect them. Women will learn to mourn. They will learn to wail. After three days of sitting in darkness. Many will find out how God feels about them. So you don’t want to repent. Remember my words. Put your pride down and get close to the Lord before the door of grace closes.

I have no idea what you mean about three days of darkness, but I imagine you must be alluding to something during the Tribulation, which the Church will *not* be here for. I'm sure you disagree, and I'm not going to argue the point. The 144,000 are Jewish virgin men, taken from the 12 tribes of Israel, and have nothing to do with Christians, Christianity, the Church.
- The Church has not replaced Israel.
- The Church will be removed in the Rapture.
- The Tribulation is the time of *Daniel's* trouble... it's meant for the Jews who have rejected their Messiah.

It’s easy if the Holy Spirit dwells in you you become like Christ but if you just say the sinners prayer and still live in sin then you are not saved
