- Thales delivers the complete combat system for the new Arrowhead 140 frigate. Scaled for adaptability and capability, this fully exportable British ship design complies with all relevant naval standards, and delivers the ability to rapidly re-role the ship based on arising operational needs. It’s a vessel, built to deliver and support optimised operational effect, while up-skilling the UK’s maritime enterprise.

The Chilean Navy the see come much optimization ( cost £ 300 millions libras esterlinas c / u. x 8 frigates in total ), versión ARROWHEAD -140 ACH from the CHilean Navy ( short of 132 mts. + - and 5.200 tns. standard )
Offer this design to Bangladesh Navy with the latest and maximum types of weaponry including CIWS, ATMACA SSM and Albatros NG SAM system.
The base design (Iver Huitfeldt) might well have what you are looking for- 3 gun positions (A up 127mm, B up to 76, and the aft most up to 40mm), 32 mk 41 cells for area air defence, 12 mk 56 cells for twin packed essm, 2 x3 torpedo launchers, helicopter, an aesa radar and 16 anti ship missiles. Not sure if the same topweight is available in the arrowhead 140, but at a minimum, 32 mk 41 and 16 anti ship missiles are still possible as demonstrated on the polish swordfish class. A lighweight launcher like EXLS (smaller than a mk 56 launcher) can quadpack camm as its considerably shorter and smaller than essm, not sure if camm-er could be though. Not sure Mk 41, area air defence would be in bangladesh cost bracket- the IH was built for 325 million us dollars 2008- with the Mk 41 but comissioning without standard missiles to fill it, and 2 leftover 76mm guns. Bangladesh priority would probably be volume of anti ship missiles and vessel self defence, you only need a base Arrowhead 140 sensor fit to support Camm/ Camm-ER. Also worth keeping in mind is that the ship can be built with raft mounted machinery if specified from order as well as towed array and hull sonar according to babcock. The Mk 41 cells could also take an Asroc if going down the ASW route
the disadvantage of these ships is that there is not enough space for some sea helicopters
Got room for at least 1
@@admiralmallard7500 the AW 101 helicopter does not fit on board
@@GS-yg9wk Ah. Yeh looks like it fits small choppers like Wildcats, I assume there's more equivalents of it out there.
I would suggest a more in your face, aggressive, no compromise name. Remenber who you are selling the idea to.

Lots more to choose from.
Thanks.
Well, perhaps the five shipnames that they've revealed, might interest you!

Not bad, is it?
@@ThalesNederlandBV Yeah. Not convinced by the "Inspiration class" as a name but the actual ship names are quality.
bro thinks this is warhammer 40k💀
Why do our british ships lack missles so badly, we only every get like 52😢😢
Because British is now too depending on US missiles. Missiles research in UK is almost dead.
These are far better armed than the T23 they're replacing, and similarly armed to the american constellation class

At the end it says “proven” that’s a blatant lie, the first ship isn’t even complete yet, so not only has it not seen conflict, it hasn’t even passed sea trials! 😂😂😂
