  • Homemade Rusk | Have you tried making Rusk at home ??
    Rust Ingredients
    Unsalted Butter - 100gms
    Sugar - 1/2cup
    Eggs - 3no’s
    Vanilla Extract - 1tsp
    Maida - 1cup
    Baking Powder - 1 1/2tsp
    Step 1 : In a bowl mix soft butter n sugar together and then eggs n mix and add vanilla extract n mix everything together now sieve Maida n Baking Powder to the wet ingredients n gently mix it. Pour the batter in greased tin n bake in preheated oven @180c for 35-40 minutes.
    Step 2 : Allow the cake to cool n slice them according to your shape, but make sure you slice them in medium pieces and arrange it in the lined tray and bake for another 10minutes @180c, here keep an eye on the oven, coz the Rusk might turn very brown soon so check your oven n flip and bake again for another 10minutes.
    Step 3 : Cool the Rusk for at least 30minutes for them turn crisp
    Step 4 : Serve them with hot tea n enjoy
