Damn Kristian ive been following you all and the schmoes since around 2013-2014 and this is a massive get. As weird as it is to say this made me proud haha.
Yes everyone should subscribe to his channel. Kristian has so much to show and offer it’s amazing. Been watching him for years and I’m always impressed by his ability to make things happen. I could preach the gospel of Harloff but I’ll stop while I’m ahead.
Dude, such a great interview. 'Andor' has completely revitalized my interest in Star Wars. It was in shreds after 'The Rise Of Skywalker' and was almost completely extinguished by 'Book Of Boba Fett' and 'Obi-Wan Kenobi'. But man. They finally got it right and I'm back on board!
Done. Liked and subscribed. Great get and great interview! Never subscribed before cuz I only watch you on occasion, didn’t think most of your stuff was my cup of tea but I’d love to see you get more interviews like this because you are a great interviewer. I thought you were very charming and disarming, great questions, great rapport, and it really seemed like you and Diego connected. Just a pleasure to watch, well done. The in-studio aspect was especially nice as well. I’ll be going through your back catalogue and catching up on what I have been missing out on!
Sometimes we argue with each other and talk trash. We fight about stuff from time to time. When we see someone looking like Kristian did, THAT is fandom at its best. THAT is stuff that none of us fight about. :)
What a great interview! You can feel Diego’s passion and how much he cares. My favorite thing he said was “having 12 episodes of tv is nothing, but having 12 episodes of tv with something to say is something”. That’s amazing
The fact that you were able to get this legend to come to your own house for this was actually nuts and I applaud it! Congrats on getting this to happen Kristian, I love Diego and you did a great job with this interview!🙏
Diego was absolutely born to play this role. His ability to convey steely cold blooded determination mixed with vulnerability and trauma is impeccable. This has been one of the absolute surprise hits of the year for me and the show resonated with me on a deeply personal level. I'm so pleased it wasn't diluted and was allowed to be such a cerebral and intense show. Absolutely masterful television.
And then you wonder why Andor is so good. That's why. Thanks to people like Diego Luna and all the people involved in this project. You can see the passion, the attention and the respect that have been poured into this show. Also thank you for putting together one of the best, if not the best interview on this subject.
DAMN! What a great guest land! Diego Luna is a champ. LOVE that he's gotten a chance to expand on Cassian, and wanna see more of him in future seasons/projects!
I love how now even though the season is over and promotion for it has ended. Diego is still taking time out of his day to talk to the fans about it. Shows he must be as much of a fan as a lot of us are
I think they are still trying to draw in the stragglers to this show. While it is the best thing Disney+ has put out (Star Wars or not) I think they would like to get some binge views over the holidays to get overall views up.
I met Diego in London at BFI, when he debuted his film “Las Elegidas”. He was extremely kind, very humble, and beyond charming. He lived up to all of my childhood fantasies when watching and rewatching him in Dirty Dancing 2. My cousin and I were in love with him. 😂 Great to see him here!
Thank you Mr. Luna, and the whole team behind Andor. I’m a kid born in the 70’s and this Star Wars feels my age!! I wanna note that I went into this project negatively. StarWars, outside of a few projects, had really not been delivering for ME personally and since ROTJ I’ve been wanting/waiting for this Star Wars. But I didn’t expect it!! You all NAILED IT! Whatever awards come or don’t come won’t matter… thank you for this Star Wars!! (Please give us the lost years that come in between the end of this season and beginning of next. I guarantee you if next season of Andor is like this.. people will want them!!)
Very cool interview! Diego seems to be such a laid-back person and was so nice. I heard from many people who have worked with him (actors and crew) that he is very easy to work with, zero drama, zero diva. And this interview just reinforces it. I hope he gets all the awards possible.
I always liked Diego!. Seriously.. Hes a great actor.. And seems like a normal Down to earth guy.. Im so happy for him, and his success in ANDOR... He deserves it
Diego Luna was the perfect choice since Rogue one. The simplicity he approaches every subject and the way he feels the need to connect makes him a great actor. Thank you Kristian for this moment. As a regular of Sith Council and your channels I beleive you gave me the perfect Christmas present. Happy Holidays.
I think his accent adds a lot to the character, it's mostly aliens that are given non english or american accents. Him having an accent adds a nice thin layer to andor to make him unique
I love Diego. What a classy person. He clearly cares about making good art. He's not there for the glamour and 'oh I'm in Star Wars' but to tell a good story. He gets it. We must capture him. Study him.
Thanks to Diego Luna for his contribution to Star Wars and coming on the show. What a top guy and well done Kristian. An early Christmas gift for sure. I love Andor. It is my favourite of all the shows. The little animated intro was cool. I think a mix of shows and tones in Star wars is cool. I think there is a place for more adult centric star wars. Something for long term adult fans who have supported Star wars for decades. I thought as an original trilogy fan that Obi Wan might be that. It wasnt. Andor totally delivered.
Wow! First of all, congratulations for having Diego on your show! Incredible feature! Second, what a great interview! You know it’s a good one when the guest speaks much more than what he’s been asked. I always liked Diego luna but now I respect him even more. You can see his dedication to his work and this series and you can see he’s a grounded person. He doesn’t have any sign of being a Star. He’s just a regular guy who does very well his job and loves what he does. He’s being totally honest on his answers! Very well done, harloff!
I’m Mexican and, y’all have no idea how happy these comments make me ^~^ It’s so rewarding to see Mexican representation in Star Wars itself, but even better for it to be celebrated THIS MUCH by every single fan 😊 I’m so proud to see him leading what might just be the most important piece of Star Wars content in recent years… Literally can not wait for season 2. One way out ✊
I want to say thank you to Diego Luna to bring us Andor. The acting is so compelling and the story reflects our real world where tyranny rules (North Korea, Russia, China, Hong Kong, Iran, Myanmar, Afghanistan, Syria, Rwanda, Uganda, Venezuela, etc.). There are so many emotional scenes which resonate our real-life experiences. Andor is more Star Wars than Star Wars. Rebels defeat the Empire, not because of the light saber or force; it is the people who sacrifice their lives to fight the tyranny, knowing they would never see the sunrise.
When Andor was announced, I was 'Luke' warm about the idea of this show. And then I watched the first 3 episodes...and I thought it was good. Then with every subsequent episode it got better. And better. And BETTER. Until I saw the last episode and all of a sudden, I sat back and thought to myself, this was the best, most well-written Star Wars with top tier acting and real stakes. I'm so excited for Diego Luna and everyone who helped make one hell of a show.
Epic score, Kristian. Well done. Diego was great! Really felt his passion for this project. Hope to see more of the cast and Tony himself in future episodes!
He was great. Absolutely loved Andor and as good as it was in one moment, it still kept surprising you and upping the ante. Diego Luna put on a great nuanced performance and I can't wait for season 2!
Andor and Diego deserve to be celebrated, the writing & acting were amazing and far beyond what we have come to expect from modern Star Wars. Tony Gilroy knocked it out of the park.
It's so amazing to hear the passion and attention to detail that was present in the making of Andor because it shows and is why it is the best Star Wars thing I've personally ever experienced.
Love Rouge One, love Andor, love Diego and love this interview 🥰 and after listening to the passion behind the series development I can now happily wait as long as it takes to make them satisfied for season 2 even if it is hard to be patient 😋
I can't believe Luna said "it just happens to be in a galaxy far far away". That is exactly what I wrote in another youtube vid I watched about Andor a few days ago. It's a story about the soul crushing oppression of years of living under a dictatorial regime of the everyday men and women and all the different reasons why it eventually reaches critical mass. The back story of all the characters, the locations, the sets, the cinematography all come together in a way that immerses you in every scene. I would easily put this in the same category as Vikings, The Wire or The Last Kingdom. I see this series viewership growing in the same way that Yellowstone has, you are invested in ALL the characters.
As always, Kristian puts out a phenomenal interview. It feels like a conversation instead of just pushing through the same old questions you’d normally see.
Kristian, I'm living vicariously through you with your interview man. To get a Star Wars actor of Diego's caliber AND into your own fuckin house no less. Wow!!! Just fuckin wow!! Congrats man!!
Wow! Wow! Wow! All the praise, Mr. Harloff on getting Diego Luna on Sith Council. He's so humble and deprecating, and so passionate about the work. Season 2 can't come soon enough.
Tremendous show. Absolutely terrifying depiction of the empire. The visceral fear and anxiety felt while watching was a new/different Star Wars experience for me and I LOVED it. Diego’s performance was phenomenal and I’m looking forward to the next season. Bravo!!! #Climb #OneWayOut
I got to be honest. I'm one of the rare people that really didn't like "Rogue One", however,I love" Andor "so much ! For me, it's the best Star wars since Empire !
Dude I loved that interview. It was sweet to see how much he really enjoys the detail of the show which is exactly what we all love about it as well. Also, you were fan girling like crazy and I loved it. You’re the real deal, man. I hope this shoots you straight over 70k! This was F’ing EXCITING!
I am so very happy that you were able to get him on the show he just sounds so excited about the story and his role in it. Great show one for the ages!
I love Diego Luna, es awesome to see him involved in Star Wars, and as surprised and pleased that I was with Rouge One, I find hard to believe that this show made me forget about Lightsabers and Jedi... kudos!!!
Thank you for this interview, it was actually because I wanted to watch this interview that I started watching Andor, and my god what a TREAT that show is. Andor + Rogue One is some of the best Star Wars we have the privilege of watching.

As someone who saw SW in cinema 1978 I can tell you - Andor is as close as you can get to the original SW feeling of those days. It’s simply great.
The fact that you were able to get this legend to come to your own house for this was actually nuts and I applaud it!

Wow! Wow! Wow! All the praise, Mr. Harloff on getting Diego Luna on Sith Council. He's so humble and deprecating, and so passionate about the work. Season 2 can't come soon enough.
Roge One was the best Star Wars movie since Empire Strikes Back. Now, Andor is amongst those two great Star Wars movies.
Congratulations Kristian, happy you were able to get this interview. This was great. Diego Luna seems so cool, I love how he talks.
I'm so happy for the show and Kristian, he looks so happy and excited.
Rogue One and Andor, best Disney Star Wars offerings.
If you haven't tuned in, don't miss out. Reward yourself, you're worth it.
It's nice to hear this show is getting nominated and recognized.
Congrats on getting Diego Luna in the studio! That is fucking rad. Great interview.
Congratulations DUDE!!!! YOUVE ARRIVED!!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Both you and him had the enthusiasm and care for the subject that brought this interview to a higher level.
Diego seems like such a great guy. Really happy to see him doing well.
Thanks for coming on Sith Council Diego!! Can't wait for season 2!
Super cool dude. Fantastic show. They've really managed to put together something special. Everything involved should feel proud.
I’m so happy for you man. You out your blood sweat and tears into this show and I’m so glad Diego agreed to come on and highlight it. 😮🎉
Great interview! So nice that you managed to have Diego in the studio. He and the whole Andor show deserve all the praise they receive.
Congrats my brother!!! So so excited for you Kristian that you got to interview the great Diego Luna! Wow such a great show today! 🎉🎉🎉
I am so very happy that you were able to get him on the show he just sounds so excited about the story and his role in it. Great show one for the ages!

Damn Kristian... what a guest / show! Thanks so much for such making this happen! 🙌👏
Thank you for this interview, it was actually because I wanted to watch this interview that I started watching Andor, and my god what a TREAT that show is. Andor + Rogue One is some of the best Star Wars we have the privilege of watching.
Been a fan of Diego and Gael for so long that it’s crazy to me that they are in Star Wars and MCU now.
Diego Luna is also amazing in Narcos: Mexico. Such a talented actor
Yeah mentioned that to him briefly.
This is incredible. Makes me want to do a binge rewatch of the season right now.
So happy for you!! One of the greatest Star Wars fans and content creators out here! Wow! You deserve it!!
Great interview, Kristian!! Thank you for giving us this gem.
I will be honest when I heard that tony gilroy doesn’t even like Star Wars before the show premiered I got to admit I was very worried about the show, and I thought we were gonna get another joby harold situation like we did with Obi-wan where you can tell just by watching the show that one of the main people working on it, just doesn’t have the skills or love for this and is definitely, at least for me, is bringing something very negative to the show. Well done, KH !
Andor is my favorite Star Wars after Empire and Rogue One.
Thank you for this great interview!
