I'm from Stamford and ride Metro North many times. When I was little mom used to take me to the train station to watch trains pulling in and out.. it was always a treat.. when I 95 was being built we would watch it from the station
It usually takes about 40 minutes from GCT to Stamford for expresses and a little over an hour for locals. The entire line New Haven Line takes about 2 hours total.
Wait, what is he talking about - the train this was filmed on? If so, it couldn't be an M3A, since the line requires overhead catenary from just before Pelham onward, which would mean that if it wasn't filmed on an M8, it'd have to have been filmed on an M2, M4, or M6 M.U.
please don't put random horn sounds in the middle of the video, it's just weird. I will admit, I'm glad you didn't include a stock steam whistle, or random train horn, but instead included the correct horn that you guys actually use on those cars.

I can't find such a train (GCT-125-New Rochelle-Greenwich-Stamford) on the emergency winter schedule on which this was taken...
How much time was the actual trip and what is the average velocity of the train?
Was it M3A or M8?
